    I have a few questions
My questions are mainly focused on akamonkai language school
    (1) if I want to go onto higher education in Japan specifically university, in Japanese and I have no knowledge of the Japanese language, how long would I have to attend a language school until I’m at the right language level for me to be accepted?
    (2) when is the best time to apply for Gogo nihon?
    (3) does the school help you get into a Japanese university?
    (4) if I were to finish my Gogo nihon course in japan in let’s say July and I get into a Japanese university, but I don’t start the university until April, would I be able to stay in school dorms until April?
    (5) if I pay some of my tuition for school before I go to Japan, am I able to pay the rest by getting a part time job in Japan?
    (6) Am I able to apply to school with GCSEs? Where I’m from, you complete GCSE’s after 12 years of school
    (7) do I have to share my dorm with another person? (I’m completely fine with sharing)
    (8) Does the school have any after school clubs for making friends and studying?
    (9) Are we allowed breaks from school? For example Christmas
    (10) how long would it take for me to become fluent in Japanese if I come to the Language school with no knowledge of the language?
    (11) How do I support myself financially in Japan if I can’t get a part time job because my Japanese isn’t good enough yet?
    (12) how long would I have to study Japanese for it to be good enough to get myself a part time job?
    (13) does the school help me find a full time job In Japan?
    (14) when applying to my school and it asks for my age, do I put my age when applying my age when I arrive to my school?
(15)why does the application ask for my gender (I’m just curious lol)
I know this is quite a Hefty list, but if you could answer some of them that would be a huge help ❤️

Can you please explain the bank statements to me?
If I wanna study at akamonkai for 2 years I should only need ¥1,478,000 right?
So when I pay that to you guys ¥1,478,000, am I able to go to japan and study for 2 years? I’m getting a bunch of mixed signals on things. I saw a comment saying I’d need 4 million yen

Hi! If I wanted to apply for a visa through you in order to go to language school in Japan, say, in September of this year, would that be likely due to the COVID border restrictions? Of course, no one can tell where the restrictions will be months ahead of now, but I was wondering how you have dealt with the obstacles posed by COVID throughout this year and last. Thanks!

    • @GoGoNihonGo
      @GoGoNihonGo  Před 2 lety +1

Hello Luke! Fortunately, the borders are open for long-term visa holders starting today and if this continues on until the end of this year, most likely, you will be able to come to Japan for your studies in the fall.
For students who were unfortunately unable to enter Japan in time for their original term starts, they either decided to wait until the borders were opened and/or took online classes with their schools while waiting. For students who didn't want to or cannot attend online classes due to the huge time difference, they were asked to postpone their studies to a later term.
We hope this answered your question! If you would like further information about the application process, please feel free to reach out to us through this link:

Hi, I would like to ask.
For a 6 month course is about 1,200,000 yen.
Does it mean that my bank statement need to show that amount which then I can use that amount to pay for tuition fees, accomodations, transportation, etc. ?
Or that amount cannot be use but to act as a proof I am capable or living and studying in Japan?
I am quite confused on this.

    • @GoGoNihonGo
      @GoGoNihonGo  Před rokem

Hi! The purpose of showing your bank statement is to make sure that you can afford living in Japan for the amount of time your visa allows you. However you use the money is up to you! Also, if you do not have enough money on your own account, you can use the account of a sponsor (usually a family member) who is supporting you. I hope this clears things up for you :)

Awesome! Just one question. The website says the cost of the course in Akamonkai for example is 428,000 yen for the 6 month course, why do they mention a cost of 1,400,000 in the video? :o

    • @lilyxiuxiu

@@lilyxiuxiu You don't pay 1.000.000 Yens to live 6 months in Japan. if you are trying to save and still want to have fun, a month can cost approx. 110.000 Yens, with rent, transport, food and fun activities with a good margin of error.

Hi! We only allow one application per student at this time. The reason for this is that if a student applies to multiple schools and all those schools accept and submit the application to immigration, immigration will automatically void all applications coming from the same student. @GoGoNihonGo  Před 3 lety +3

Hello, thanks for your questions! We're glad to hear that your parents are supportive of your future studies in Japan! ☺️
Our school offers 3-month short-term courses, but as the borders currently remain closed, the short-term courses have been put to a halt until further notice. Please note that participating in a short-term course would mean that you will be coming to Japan on a tourist visa as student visas require longer study lengths.
You are also only allowed to work part-time on a student visa. So if you wish to experience working part-time in Japan, we recommend applying for a longer study length instead.
We hope this helps and if you have any further questions, please do not hesitate to contact our team via our website: gogonihon.com/#ContactForm
