    Why do I need 4 million yen?

      You may have a sponsor for your studies, yes! To qualify as a sponsor, a person must be directly related to you (like a parent or sibling), and have been working full-time for the past 2 years. Their annual income must also be sufficiently high that they would be able to support you in Japan. We hope this helps!

      Hi Alexander! The accommodation is separate from the tuition fee you will be paying directly to the school. While it also possible to be able to support your daily necessities with a part-time job, it will be very difficult if you will be only supporting yourself and paying your rent with your part-time income.

      Hi there! Schools and immigration are requiring at least 1,000,000 yen (or in some cases, 1,200,000 yen) for students who will be applying for at least 6-months. The reason for this is that they would like to confirm that the applicant is financially capable of living and studying in Japan. If an applicant cannot provide the required bank statement, the schools will not be able to move forward with an application, unfortunately. We hope this helps!

    Is there any scholarships or financial aid and how does it total cost?

    • @GoGoNihonGo
      @GoGoNihonGo  Před 3 lety +1

      Hi there! Unfortunately, we do not assist with financial aid or scholarships, so we are unable to provide any information about those types of programs. We apologize for not being more helpful in that regard. Our students usually use their savings in order to come to Japan, or use a sponsor who will support them financially during their studies.
      When you apply, a bank statement is required by Japanese immigration to prove that you are financially capable of living in Japan even if that’s not the amount that you will be spending. For a 1-year visa, the amount is 2,000,000yen, 2-years is 4,000,000yen. Otherwise, you can apply for a 6-month visa with 1,200,000yen.
      We hope this helps!

    Hi Gogo nihon!
    I have a question regarding higher education in japan.
    Am I able to study in a Japanese university with the course in Japanese? As in, am I able to take the same courses and course work as a native Japanese student?
    I do know I will have to take and pass the EJU to take part in a university,
    Also, when is the best time to study in Japan if you aspire to take the EJU and attend a Japanese university?
    Will definitely be using you guys once I have enough money saved :)

    • @GoGoNihonGo
      @GoGoNihonGo  Před 3 lety +3

      Hello! To answer your question, yes, you will be able to apply for a Japanese university and study alongside Japanese students if you meet the requirements. For example, a major requirement would be having a JLPT N2 or equivalent in order to qualify for an application at a Japanese university--in a course that is conducted in Japanese.
      If you are a beginner and would like to take the EJU after your language studies, it is best to begin your language studies from the April term as the maximum study length for this term is 2 years. In general, it is estimated that for a complete beginner, 1.5 to 2 years of studies in a Japanese language school is necessary to reach a level of proficiency equivalent to JLPT N2.
      If you begin your studies in April, you will finish your language course around March 2 years after. You will then be able to take the EJU in March and begin your university studies in April.
      We hope this helps!
