My XML t6 came with a battery and charger. It also came with the housing for AAA batteries if you want to use them instead. It may not be 2k lumens but it's bright enough to temporarily blind an attacker. Strong torch well worth the money, had mine years , works every time. Mine is made by binwo, it's exactly the same flashlight though.
Advert said this unit can start fires...? Mine didn't come with instructions. That's why, while looking for information on how to operate the functions, I found this video. However, this video doesn't mention the function of fire starting...? False advert...? Did I get taken...? Please let me know...? 😎👍
Man did I get ripped off! I paid way too much for 2 lights and slow delivery I got the XML T6 x 2000. "EliteTAC (made in USA???) only to find out made in China! What got me was the "so bright and powerful, you set a piece of paper on fire. Great for survival purposes". How much? $85 yep. A sucker is born everyday! I guess it was my turn. Have a great day
I'm a little late but theres no chance you are gonna start fires with a flashlight this small. You'd need something far far more powerful Though not my business, I don't even know why you'd want to start fires with a flashlight. There are far more effective methods such as lighters, matches etc
not only that he barely shows it working when it's fully retracted for a split second!! i couldn't even get an idea of how bright it is thanks to this!! no one wants to see it shining directly in the camera or when it's fully zoomed in because people rarely zoom it in all the way! ffs most people are gonna use it as a normal flashlight and want the light to be spread out but thanks to this guy now i don't have any idea of that. now i do have a flashlight that uses this chip but it's a known brand one and based on my experience with chinese no name flashlights is that they can play around with the current of the driver module and set it too low that you don't get the full potential from your flashlight!! but thanks to this guy now i don't know whether to buy or not i most likely will since its very cheap and not really loosing anything if i do.
I have this flashlight, the XML-T6 . It's a very bright beam, no doubt. But it's starting to have an issue. When the switch is on, the light switch can give a flakey light output if slightly touched on the edge of the orange rubber button. I'll have to look at it to see if the button contact needs cleaning, and if I can get in there to clean it. I've only had it a year. (Today is the Forth of July, 2020).
So glad I only paid $6 for this! It’ll do. The half press to change light modes kinda sucks IMO. It works but sometimes I turn it on and it’s in strobe mode 😂😅
I let myself get suckered in on this one without checking reviews online. The flashlights are very over priced from the company. There is no way these are anywhere near 2000 lumens.I contacted the company support today and was offered a 75% refund immediately or I could return the product at my expense and wait for their inspection and then a full refund except the shipping. I figured I would end up with nearly $20 in the shipping both ways plus insurance on the return, so I cut my loses and took the 75%. You can buy a very similar one for a lot less from Harbor Freight that uses 4 AAA batteries. I will take this piece there to compare tomorrow.
@@lewisshook4348 I think the best you can do is to bite the bullet and get them to refund 75%. The flashlight is maybe worth $5. If you pay shipping and insurance to return it, you are still paying for the shipping to you and would probably have to wait for a month. They did my refund within an hour of mt phone call. Good Luck
needed 2 flashlights for a trip to Laos... got 2 with batteries and chargers for $4.50 including shipping. Ill be happy if they last the week we are there.

@Blind Freddy I suppose, however its not as if it truly matters. People will always go by what they think is right, not what is. The only thing to do is be the exception, and let the ignorant be ignorant. It's a waste of breath to try and better the ignorant, better yourself and dont worry about such trivial things. At least thats just my oppinion. anyways
2000 lm is akinda joke, maybe equivalent of 200lm (maybe, a little more) Any flashlight with 1000 and more lumens power, heats up very seriously, so works in this mode some minutes, not longer.
i have it but the name on it is different NAVTAC Q250 but it is not 1600lm it says 2000lm other internet pages says 700-800lm max so i dont know what to believe anymore

If they Use the XML T6 then they are limited to the Data sheet. If you notice the XML U2 led's are a little better not much. The max is 3.2 volt at 3.2 amp/3200ma gives you 10.24 watts Volts times amp = wattageanything higher shortens the life of the LED massively.1 Lm = 1 Lx over a 1 SQ meter. so if you focus the beam to 1 sq meter and put a lux meter in the middle it will read your lumen's.
ted tedsen I have one of these , I also have other flashlights , this one is fantastic value , comparing it to my others , I would rate this at 1000 to 1200 lumens NOT 2000. Even so a nice lightweight tool.
How to i toggle the mode setting off? I used to use mine where every time i clicked the button it just came on full blast, never strobed. I accidently toggled and cant figure out how to do it again but i had had it for months prior to that happening and used it just about every day. Now i rarely ever want to use it at all.
Once you fully press the button and it turns the flashlight on just barely push it one more time and then that is medium barely push it again that strobe
Thanks was gonna waste $80 on a tac light, was wondering if you knew any basketweave holsters for this as I'm not sure of the dimensions and didn't find much when searching
How does it strobe? I see no strobe . Also, the charger lights, are 2 different colors. Red and I think blue? Or green(which makes too much sense). I like it. But I'm guessing there's better ones out there

Max output on the T6 chip is ~950 lumens with a sufficient power source, disliked for misinformation!
It's the shit info on ebay. Some sellers even claiming 5000 lumens.... out of a 1000lumen max LED lol. Doubtful it's even a Cree LED.

So this torch does not have 2000 lumens this torch actually has as many lumens a luminous flux: 400 lumen. Shines: 258m / 73m So what's the truth?
T6 led type are 400 lumens...not 2000 lumens.

30 lumens led torch bro this one don't say 2000 lumens
You know what is the meaning of lumens ha.....??
It not his fault, the company claims 2000lumens ( Which by the way I’m well aware isn’t true) so people often just role with what the companies say.

200lm
can you access strobe mode instantly or do you need to click through all the settings to find it.
phililpb you will need to click through the settings
many thanks. but this makes it less useful if used in an emergency situation against a would be attacker
you just click on the side of the on/off switch to enter strobe
