Thanks for this video. I purchased a 54" new roland print and cut last august with the white set up and my prints weren't coming out good. Tried this and WOW what a difference. I knew I was missing something!!!! So glad I came across this video. Thanks again!
Thank you! I also notice I start getting banding on my white after my 3rd overprint. Any ideas? I print each hit on standard mode on a Bn20. Thank you very much for your tips & knowledge!
How do you set up white in your file? Is it a spot color? If so what is it named?

Spot color RDG_WHITE is available in the "Roland VersaWorks" Swatches included with the software. You need swatches in there for cutting, per cutting, metallic printing, etc. depending on the equipment you have.
does white ink serve any purpose in t-shirt production (vinyl shirt transfers). was thinking of just going with bn-20a. i do plan on posters and decals, but not interested in clear stickers, in which white might be useful.. but again, i don't plan on doing clear stickers.
if my bn20 was set up with metallic but the cartridge is still full, can i flush that out and change to white?
How old is old when it comes to clear vinyl? I've tried all the steps and it's still not printing white nicely. All I can think is it's the clear vinyl, but my roll of vinyl is about 4 months old, is that too old?
