Mercedes 608D camper with running OM314 for sale only £500

Available at £500. This is a 1986 face lift model with side anti-dive bars between the axles. Could be saved and returned to road but would be a big project. Properly registered as a "Motor Caravan". I bought it at scrap price locally as source of spares, most of which are interchangeable with the 1986 508D camper I ran. However so few parts have been needed and I also bought an equally sad 508D recovery truck (sold 06/06/20) for good measure because it had a super condition replacement engine. By contrast the engine shown here in the 608D needs more time to start from cold and so provisionally I diagnose it possibly needs work on the head and injectors etc subject to inspection which I've not bothered to do. Non standard radiator. Other than that it seems fairly unworn mechanically and has the later, nicer gearbox.Located at DG7. Details correct as at 27 June 2020.

Yes, was lots of interest and it went last year to Macclesfield to be restored. Big project!
