In this video we're going to setup a crypto miner on our Raspberry Pi Zero using an Ant Miner USB stick.
A micro SD card with Raspberry Pi OS installed (see Software).
A micro USB power supply (available from your local reseller).
A special Raspberry Pi Zero camera cable, if you want to use a Raspberry Pi camera (the standard cable supplied with Raspberry Pi cameras is not compatible with the smaller Raspberry Pi Zero camera connector). Suitable cables are available at low cost from many Raspberry Pi Approved Resellers, and are supplied with the Raspberry Pi Zero Case.

CSI camera connector (v1.3 only)
Manufactured in the USA by legendary GekkoScience (Sidehack). Currently the most efficient USB miner ever manufactured. The NEWPAC Compac features 2 Bitmain BM1387 chips (this is the same chip as in the Bitmain S5). The stock clock setting is 100MHz for 23GH. The possible frequency values range from 100MHz to 600MHz, which generates speeds from 23GH to 130GH. Please make sure you provide extra cooling (table fan, usb fan, etc) when running the miner because these can get very hot (especially when running over 100 MHz frequency)

I mean the cost of running the small computer for mining isn't exceptionally high but the profit margin isn't really there you can think of it as a competition to complete in algorithm and you're in a pool so to speak it's first one to race day I mean I've had crypto miners going and I'm collected the data on it it's interesting to do but the prophet is you know Penny's compared to you know what you could be using the hardware for that being said it is still a fun challenge hash algorithms are intriguing

I'm confused, is Bitcoin not worth more than $25,000? If I had a Bitcoin couldn't I sell it and buy a car? How is a dollar worth more than a Bitcoin when the market says it takes more than 25k dollars to acquire a bitcoin?
@@danielgray9723 Bitcoin, and other crypto currencies, does not have legal tender status and is therefore not "currency". So, you can't go to a dealership and offer them a Bitcoin to pay for your car. You would have to sell it 3rd party to a buyer and then use that transaction to buy your car. Now, some perceive Bitcoin as a threat to their current monetary systems while being concerned about its use to support illicit activities like drug trafficking, money laundering, and terrorism. Many are wary of its volatility and decentralized nature. Bitcoin hasn't recovered from it's all time high back 2021 and some longtime Bitcoin investors are calling crypto currencies dead in the US but Bitcoin has been through it's fair share of bear markets already. So we'll see but Bitcoin is still worth actual money until it isn't.
