The tutorial was okay but if you selected to use Raspberry OS Lite, which gives a terminal only, then you would've gotten a higher hash rate and using vnc to get in just wasted resources. Also Minergate cuts ur hashrate by 30% so you did better than you think. Other than that, good video 👍

I'm planning on making a solar powered miner. Mining monero is one of the options I am thinking. I will probably use a very old motherboard and cpu I no longer use, just to save cost, then if I can make profit, slowly upgrade the system. The idea is to have a miner that slowly upgrades itself over the years until it actually makes money. We shall see if it can be done or not 😅

i dig it! like...i really really really dig it, especially since the idea of a solar-powered miner has come across my mind before as well. considering this would be such a herculean effort and would take a verrrry long time to do i feel like maybe using publish0x to document your experience with it would be cool; you'd get a couple scraps of crypto here and there from people tipping as they read your articles and while it tends to be hard to find really quality content, p0x has a lot of interesting authors. i'd love to read about your lil journey :^)

Thanks for the video. It wasn't very clear.
    1) Which Raspberry Pi you used (specs)?
    2) What was the average Hash rate you got?
    3) Your total earnings was < $0.000001. Did not make much sense.
    3) Raspberry Pi 4 gives a hashrate of 105 H/s. I see yours gave 3 H/s?

to answer ur 1st question, just use a rasberry pi 4 or above
the average hash rate was prob like 2.36
and the total earnings is just under a cent
and the hash rate varies for certian reasons
one peice of advice is to join a pool so u might make more money

You spent a lot of time showing how to set up raspberry OS, which most viewers would already know, then you spend 1 or 2 seconds on checking your miner gate account and say it's OK. WHAT THE heck is minergate?? Please provide link for the NB

So, you took almost 15 minutes to tell me it made a couple of tenths of a cent? In other words the money spent on the hardware and your time was a total and complete loss. My time might have been too if I had not skipped to the end. God, Apple users love to hear themselves talk.

Mining monero is trash. Crypto has no real value, and monero mining, even on an rpi isn't worth the time or cost of electricity.
