This band is underrated by far. They definitely helped mold the 80’s for sure. I recently found myself listening to their music like I did back in the 80’s again. I rediscovered them again. It’s like every song is new to me once more, and I’m enjoying that very much! I wish they would have played Sunshine in the Shade. I like to replay that song a few times in a row because it’s so catchy. I was only 8 years old when they came out, but I remember all good times I had watching them on MTV.
I remember on their "Elemental" tour, they did a free show at Town pt. park in Norfolk Va. And played the while set. Which i may add was a awesome show
Thanks so much for posting this! I saw The Fixx last year (2022) in Lexington, Ky. They were awesome. I hadn’t seen them live since the 80’s. I got to hang out with the band at their tour bus after the show and they were all so gracious with their time and seemed to really enjoy talking to their fans. Cy Curnin stayed and talked with fans until about 2am. Great group of people!
They are always amazingly gracious with their fans...patiently autographing stacks of Fixx items (not just one item) from some fans, spending hours hanging out and talking before and after shows. So glad you saw them last year. I was born south of Lexington; would love to see a show in my birth state someday.
I met them a few times, and yes they are gracious and are in touch with the fans via social media too. I was always wild about them starting at 15 yrs old, had their poster on my wall, collected their stuff, etc . I never thought I would someday actually get to talk to them, take pics with them, etc. I'm in awe and I'm touched by their humility and sincerity. .
@@salvatorebellamo8410 yeah, it's a great concert, great sound, but really a lack of a great light show would really have added to this venue quite a bit. They seemed to have a little bit of lighting at the end, but didn't even spotlight Cy on Saved By Zero and only featured Jamie on guitars, which is awesome, but let's face it, let's get all of the band highlighted and recognize the great talent of all of the members of The Fixx!
40:10 mark - I'm so glad The Fixx is playing Wake Up from their newest Every Five Seconds album on this tour. They played it in Pittsburgh too. It's been my social justice theme song since the first time I heard it. #livetheBeatitudes
I saw them on this tour in Glenside, PA, they were great as always. I'm a fan since 1983 and have met them more than once.. And yes, it is too dark there! Appropriate for "Just Before Dawn" though, lol
The Fixx during their popularity is in toe to toe with Duran Duran on every new album release and The Fixx was even more popular in US than Duran Duran.
I was at this show last night. They should be in the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame. So underrated. One of the best live bands.

I bought 4 albums in the 1980s. Still not only think about the music but STILL enjoy the tunes ...immensely. Some great memories.
Great Show .
Thanks

Love that! All the more reason to go, making is a total package experience! I was out of town when they came, still looking to get to a show already!!
Saw them again at Keswick Theatre, Glenside PA. Excellent show. Thanks for posting this
They really sound amazing. I am sorry I missed the show. I never knew that they came to jersey.
As of today, they are all at least 70 yrs old except Cy who is mid 60s. They all look and sound amazing!
They were awesome.
Good time!
Could have used a spotlight or two. The stage is so dark. They sound great though!
Lighting was awful at this venue - seems other venues it was much better from checking other shows on this tour

@salvatorebellamo8410 such lighting such as this deafeningly has its place fissure

This band will do what it does until it can’t anymore 💪🏾🦅
Did a couple tunes they rarely do !!!###
