Oh, please, they really think that house is haunted? Psh...kids these days.
Harry and the Haunted House is (C) 1994 Living Books/(C) 2012 Wanderful, Inc.
Holy crap, this brings back memories of being like 4 and playing this on my mom's old Windows 95 computer :) I used to think this one was kinda scary.
9:18 -- YES. The exact reason I looked this video up. That tune has been in the back of my head ever since I played this as a child, and I'll find myself humming it from time to time
✨
That makes me think of pink panther theme along with centaur annoyance from warcraft 3.
Whoa whoa whoa, talk about a blast from the past! I feel like being four years old just rushed right back to me.
Yeah me too!
@@gemstoneprincess2890 yesssssssssssssssssssssssss I remember this
@@michelleroworth4886 ya
Interesting to know
@@watchforever1724 yep
Please! I think I'm going to cry with this nostalgia! I WAS LOOKING FOR THAT GAME EVERYWHERE! I remember playing that game in 2010 at Kindergarten but 6 years later, I have found it.
If you want a working copy I'll gladly help out!
@@JCarey1988 Yesssssssss this was the best thing ever when it comes to living books
Living books was gone in 2010 but wanderful was established in that same year.
Ah, the memories I have of playing this game way back in 1999.
I remember the thunder at 3:25 being used at the end of the original "The Terminator" from 1984.
The window shattering at 4:57 sounds more like a light bulb breaking. But I love Harry's "Oh crap!" face at 5:06!
Add an exclamation point from Metal Gear Solid At 5:06, that would be cool!
3:18 - 9:09 Yeesh. That haunted house building could scream a lot. 😱
Playing this when I was about 3 years old, nearly 21 now and can still remember it perfectly! Ahhh childhood
This was my favorite Living Books game! I still have the CD!
Alternative Title: Scooby Doo 6th Grade. Love the nostalgia and the harmonica music rocked.
DUDE!!!!! Takes me back.... Loved this!
3:18 & 9:09 that tower of the house screams
I've been looking everywhere for the name of this game! Played this through DOZENS of times in Preschool!
This game is Harry and the Haunted House.
"I volunteered to take the lead."
Sure, Harry. Sure.
Aww...whenever I have a tough day, I love to watch these Living Books games. They take me back to a simpler time :)
5:21 I agree with Amy. Arguing who should get the ball won't make the ball come back to the gang. 5:38 kids and their imaginations.

10:39
Spot: (Sniffing)
Skeleton: Hey Don't Even Think About It
Spot: What a Grouch
"The closer you get, the bigger it looks." NAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!
Along came a spider, who sat down beside her, and frightened miss muffet away. 12:28
Nice undertale
My dad was a teacher while I was growing up and this was the one disc I asked him to bring home all the time so I could play it. I missed this so much. Not sure what made me think to find it on here but glad its here
omg that intro music my childhood
I can't tell you how thrilled I am that you've uploaded this game. I remember when, back in the '90's, I would be playing Arthur's Teacher Trouble and see the demo of Harry and the Haunted House. I always wanted to play it!
After confusing this with and googling "Berenstain bears ad haunted house" I finally find it. This is exciting and nostalgic
Amy:"Hey Batter Batter!" 2:47
Amy:"That was the bird" 12:33

LOL that lady scream at, 3:18, literally made me laugh so hard!🤣
@Aiurin No problem! I strive to have to good quality playthroughs of these, so I appreciate that kind of feedback!
That’s one of the best music living books did to dance to! I wish they’d make a new series like this! 🎶
I love that little tune at 9:17
One may incorrectly think Harry is supposed to be a dog until reaching the end where his ears are raised or from reading the back cover of the paperback book that was originally included with this CD-ROM that says his name is "Harry D. Rabbit".
omg my childhood game :D I played this since in the first grade
those FREAKING GHOSTS IN THE MIRROR scared the crap out of me.
this reminds me of "Scooby Doo."
Same here! The whole comical haunted house setting, the main characters being four kids and a dog, the Hanna-Barbera sound effects...
But in this story, there’s only one girl.
And there are no masked evildoers.
when i was little i clicked Stinky over and over again it always went "Stinky, Stinky, Stink-Stink-Stinky-Stinky"
Actually, abandoned houses are dangerous because they could have rotting floorboards, not because they're haunted.
That said, if there was a haunted house without rotting floorboards in my neighborhood I'd totally visit it. I've always wanted to meet a ghost.
It did come with a book indeed! I think every game in the series did, with a few exceptions.
I know what you mean. When I bought "Arthur's Reading Race," that game didn't include the book version of it.
I've been searching for this for so long. This was a game I used to play when I was little. Brings back so many memories.
I remember plane is at computer please. When I get my own computer, and when I get this game, I hope to play it whatever I want.
I Play This For The First Time
One of my many favorite Living Books games.
Harry is quite a brave 🐇. He isn't afraid of anything compared to Sheila Rae. 😂! 👍🏻 if you remembered playing this game when you were HIS age.
Harry is only scared of spiders unlike Earl.
When Harry and his friends knocked 3 × @ the front door, no body answered.
House screams and other creepy noises: no reaction
Wind blows shutters open and close: Did you hear that aaahhhhh! By the way the bird is an a hole.
I use to play this at my library’s computers. What memories.
I love those singing windows! ha ha
Aah, my first jump scare experience
Gee, I always love to hear the story Green Eggs and Ham ARemoteAndRandomName, I wish you can have the playthrough on again.
This was the first Living Books game I got! I think it was in 1995/96/97 or something like that. My dad used to be a computer programmer and he used to get these games at his workplace for free. When I was a kid, I loved hearing Mark Schlichting's name, even though I could never pronounce it.
1:44 Uhh, is it just me or does Spot look awfully like TinTin's dog?
This is why the internet was made. Thanks for this.
I’VE BEEN LOOKING FOR THIS GOD DAMN GAME I PLAYED IT ONCE WHEN I WAS LIKE 4
23 years old... first time I think about this in 20 years. I had to look it up!
Elementary School Nostalgic Fun!!!!
I still remember playing these games in the computer lab back in the early 2000s!!!
Harry dances to the blues. And so do cartoon
characters in ling books they all dance too.
I seen storybook characters dance to music.
That doorbell rings At 14:06, at the end of the ringing doorbell was on one of the Karin (Chibi Vampire) anime episodes.
I've been looking for this for a looonngg time. Couldn't remember the name at all. I remember playing this in school on the colorful iMacs in the late 90's.
9:23, years ago in preschool I'd always play this game with a friend of mine, and when we clicked on the singing windows, the small window had us dying of laughter. XD
i COMPLETELY forgot about this game.
Yeah all Living Books game made my childhood
Fred: sounds like a mystery.
@theBigA1992 A rabbit, because his full name is Harry D. Rabbit. Thank goodness for that too, because it would make unfortunate implications.
ARemoteAndRandomName no its a dog
Earl: remember that the last guy that went into the haunted house they never saw him again.
I use to own these and usually let me play I pick and play around it those were the days
This use to creep me out as a kid
I remember having this game, but it would always crash after the intro page.
I was so interested to see what was inside and it was the biggest mystery to me for a long time.
How did the game crash?
at 0:51 this theme kinda sounds like the theme song from Rosanne!
I don't actually own a copy of this game, but the guy who did it (Mister Blisters) has had it since his childhood. You can find it on eBay or Amazon pretty cheap though.
WOW I remember playing this when I was little!
Dalphie: jeepers.
4:19
Harry: No Spot Get the Ball
Oops 😬 sorry I’ll try again
4:18 actually.
10:37 *sniffing* Hey! Don't even think about it.
That doorbell @14:06 use to make me jump when I was a kid
i like the old tree tickle the tower of the haunted house
I always remembered this game from when I was in pre school !!! Ahh such simpler times
I believe kids THOSE days because remember this was back in the 90's.
I TELL YA HARRY THAT HOUSE HAS GHOSTS!!!!!!!!!!! AND WHAT IF THE WITCHES IS STILL IN THERE????
Ghosts? who you gonna call?
Ghostbusters!
ALL MY NOSTALGIA!
I learned English with this game. :')
Omg I played this like 10 years ago and forgot the name
The nostalgia is real 😭😭
Aaaa I remember when I used to watch my brother play this when I was like 6, I miss this so much ❤️
I used to love Little Monster at school and Ruff's Bone!
Awww man this game was the shit!!! I freakin loved playing this! 😁 The nostalgia though!
3:10
He got it!
WHOA! 2:39
Riley Andersen Oh my gosh! Riley Anderson!! I'm a huge fan!
Nice. Kinda sounded like he was saying WOW!!!! or WAH!!!!
Brings back memories of my primary school.
2:33 Bet you can’t hit this one!
2:47 Hey, batter batter!
Why did Earl say that he’ll bet Harry cannot hit that one pitch?
Welcome, foolish mortals!
i loved this game omg and to this day i still remember a lot of it so much so that you forgot to click the trees so they can take off like rockets
Gus Menary-Weinfield As Harry: "Hi, I'm Harry, Come Have An Adventure With Me And My Friends"
9:27 always get me the chills in my childhood.
Brutalmoose brought me hear (I've been waiting to say that for 1.5 months)
OMG THE NOSTALGIA!!!!!!!
@erikalynn If you have a 64-bit, ScummVM or a virtual machine is your only solution. If it's a 32-bit, it should run if you set the game to run in 256 colors (right-click the EXE, click "Properties", go to "Compatibility", and check that box). The only way to get it to run in 640 x 480, though, is to first set a small application to run in it, THEN open the game. Even if you set it to run in 640 x 480 on the old titles, it doesn't work, which is weird.
Thats why people want older computers, people such as myself!
Brutal Moose Reviews this game along side with ruffs bone.
I remember my teacher played this in kindergarten and I was so infatuated with it
Harry:hi I'm Harry come have an adventure with me and my friends
Bird:Stinky is a scaredy-skunk scaredy-skunk
Stinky:am not
I just got this on iTunes ^^
All the kids would play this at my school 😂😂😂😂
Over the years I went back and forth to this but now in 2022 I will finish this
Stinky was feeling me slowly.
