    Fun fact : when Jean-Marc Richard from swiss TV says "i waited 32 years for this", he doesn't say it because he's 32 yo but because he's been a eurovision commentator for 32 years (wich makes him the dean of all commentators)

    For Ukraine this year on grand final not only Timur was a commentator, but also one of my beloved ukrainian comedians - Vasyl Baidak was there. And it was so good!
    So it should be like, 8:20 Ukraine - Suspilne - Timur Miroshnychenko and Vasyl Baidak

    • @aryna2268
      @aryna2268 Před 6 dny

      Fun fact: Actually Vasyl is a part of parody band Badstreet boys who actually send a song to our national selection (czcams.com/video/5yBuOLNcoTo/video.html). But they won't even choose to perform live.
      Instead, Vasyl was one of the host during Vidbir alongside with Julia Sanina and of course Timur Miroshnychenko.
      And Badstreet Boys later actually organised their own "Eurovision" - Nashebachennya (that literally means Our vision) and during it fundraise almost 5 million UAH (more than 110 000 EUR).
      It was like one of the funniest things I've ever seen. I mean, one of the guests were popular Ukrainian bang(TNMK) that ages ago made a CatDog intro in ukrainian for that animated TV show. AND THEY ACTUALLY PERFORMED THE CATDOG SONG OMG, probably for the first time live. Legends!

      I once was in the Netherlands for three weeks, alone and I had to interact with people. After that, I could read a newspaper article and understand like 80-90%. The rest I could figure out. And I understood what people were talking about and if they did so slowly even better.

      The French commentators that were there for the comments part are, let's say... known for their "enthusiasm" when they feel like an "injustice" has been committed towards our artists. 4th place, considering the top 3, was the best result we could've gotten this year, and we did it while being quintessentially French and reminding what the essence of Eurovision is.
      And they're still unhappy. I'm done with these two lmfao
