    They should complement it with a huge stadium, training pitches , hostels and turned the whole area in a Sports University

      That’s the plan on paper .
      The original plan was to build a 50,000 capacity stadium in addition to the What has been done already.
      And also the government has plans to convert it to a sports development university after the Games.

    • @NanaYawObeng_
      @NanaYawObeng_  Před 3 měsíci +6

      My hope is that all these plans aren’t scrapped off after the games

      You are absolutely right and that’s actually the original plan . The stadium is supposed to be next to it but couldn’t have been completely in time for the games hence the Legon stadium bn used to compliment bortey man for now . I hope they still build the stadium after the games in March . They must . It looks like a half done job as it stands without the stadium 🏟️

      @kwameantwi9049 yh, for sure it will look incomplete if the stadium isn’t built

    We can provide almost a 1000 employment when we are able to put everything on paper in place.
    From administrators to groundsmen. And get proper management who can generate their own Money to pay their workers.
    Year all round, we can be hosting a lot of games in a year. At least every 2 to 3 months there should be an activity

    There should be interchange at community 18 Junction to ease movement to the complex ,instead of going to Ashaiman to make a U turn .

    • @MrKwabenaadu
      @MrKwabenaadu Před 3 měsíci +2

      @@NanaYawObeng_ I know the developmental goal of this area very well, since I live around this area.Ex president Kuffour was going to build Interchange at community 18 to link Lashibi to Kuffour estate (Borteyman Affordable estate ) but change of government did not allow this project to see the light of the day.
      NDC also came with a plan.
      Ashaiman Underbridge has a a big problem so they were saying, instead of building interchange at Community 18 junction , they planned to build interchange at Agyei Kojo under ridge .
      Again change in Government did not allow the construction of Interchange at Ashaiman/Agyei kojo under bridge to see the light of the day..
      A persistent change in government is a great disservice to the nation .
