Thanks for the video. I do gigs as a hobby basically for the better part of 10yrs. At first I'd fill in for my brother in law the odd time until he grew out of it. Looking back, I think I was fortunate to have access to pro equipment from day one. I remember the first show I filled in for, I was fkn nervous af, but at the same time it was fun when people were having a good time and got a bit more uninhibited. It gets kind of addictive. Everyone is having an awesome time, and its because of you, its pretty cool. I've had shit shows occur too, not many, because when that happens, it's all on you too, so you make sure you got backup everything. Ive added alot of other elements over the years, other than audio. I'd like to get the show to a certain quality and pass it on to someone else that's a bit hungrier than me now. When you have as much time in as I do, you see things in the crowd, and you can play with that to keep the energy at a level you can sustain for a certain length of time, you know what I mean? That's what I'd like to pass on. How are you liking these speakers? Have you had any issues? I hope you're having fun.
Good bass, clear highs, I like what I hear.
Excellent video. I have Ev ELX series & I'm was looking into getting some of the Mackie drm series.
They are great speakers. Thank for watching DJ
Hi Nice video! Quick question - how do you set the sound on these with the DSP? I just bought a pair of the DRM215s. Not sure how to set-up the volume for max sound? Should the master Vol be set to Unity and then use the gain until the master hits red? Any help would be great! Thanks!
Good sounds, order a set for myself
Great Video..
I would love to see these in action at one of your gigs!
evilevon heeey! I’m using tonite a Scorpio Party. I’ll upload the footage and additional footage from a previous gig this week. Thanks for watching.
Thinking about getting a set of these. Have you compared to JBL’s PRX or SRX?
Do you know how far you can turn these up before clipping
Dope! Books
Thanks Big Bro!
nice bro hope you having fun with them i have the old mackie 1530 and they bang i imaging yours take care my boy......
DJ EJ in Denver bro...Right on for posting this video....question.... Now that you've had these for a while, are you still happy with them? I have 2 of the DRM 18s subs and I'm ready to buy the 315's. Just checking to see if you've had any issues...Thanks again man.
Sorry for taking so long to reply bro. Im really satisfied with them. They sound great and I haven't had any issues. Thanks for watching.
DJ EJ- how do your like the DRM 18s?
@@thefrankfactorshow Man I'm a little late with the reply... sorry about that. I love the DRM18s. Bass sounds clean and low. The only downside is the size. They are pretty big. I finally bought 2 DRM 315's to go with them. The system sounds great!!!!
I agree. I love mines
@@djejdenver678 do you still have mackie 315 and mackie 18s?
Any issues so far?
There is no fan ,Do they get hot or overheating ?
Do you have a video of the speakers in action?
Hope to hear from you
Can i use one of these for my semi??
Are you happy with the DRM 315'd ? Im looking are getting two of them with 4 drm 18 subs for my band. Im concerned that there are no fans on them ... and concerned about coverage outdoors? looking at 300 to 500 crowd size ... you think these can work?
They would be a great addition for your band. I believe they would be enough. I used them a few weeks ago for a motorcycle club and they had about 200 people there but I used additional equipment and 4 subs too. Thanks for watching
Are they good for out side
Yes. I used them outside a few times. They are not weather proof of course but resilient.
Hey there : My 1st question is have you been using these for a while, are they DURABLE?
So the 15 inch for the lows, what are the other 2 speaker size’s midrange & tweeter ?
How do they compare to Electro Voice ETX 15 inch 3 way, or the JBL SRX 15 INCH 3 WAY ???
Thanks for your video, really I’m concerned mostly with the long-haul.
If I could get/afford something like these I really need to know that the quality of the sound is truly high-fidelity & that it will last, year after year ?
Am not sure who designs their amps but wont be mackie. JBL prx range been using pascal & rcf too.
@@MobilediscowirralCoUk lol definitely rcf I don’t know where you got that one from… but srx uses full on crown drive core and for the prx jbl makes the amp for that series nothing special
@@soundfreak8892 I know you think i made it up 🤣…think its prx 800 series uses pascal amp and rcf use 100% use pascal its german you get get to see true rms % reason i was shocked as just looked at the spare parts. Have nose look and you will find. The new NX 3 way is unreal
@@soundfreak8892😂😂😂 I saw you everywhere
How is the bass output in small room, like your living room?
Its sounds great to me. The bass response is punchy and heavy. Thanks for watching.
@@SimpleDJLife Mackie recommends setting the mains at U for best overall speaker response without clipping or cutting out. I own the 2 way 15" and 12". Might add these next year.
@@JonTisch Thanks Fam. I will make sure I adjust the levels approximately.
Guys I have for sale one this speaker , NEW whit cover , I don’t have the box but never used outside the house , I get this 2 months ago , 800 whit cover
Made in USA?
Does this unit have subs in them?
No, you have to buy the matching subs separately. Those are the DRM-18S. Thanks for watching and i apologize for the delayed response.
Which price bro?
I keep herring its not heavy, how true is that?
It weighs about 90lbs. Its not really heavy. I carried it myself plus lifted it up on the tripod.
It says 68 pounds though..
That’s what I understood it to be 68 pounds , did you see the 90 lbs in the manual ?
Is DJ ing your full time job?
No. I have a 9 to 5 for insurance for my babies. Expensive paying out of pocket. Thanks for watching.
