Petros is like another versión of jj. He feels like he would be a Beast in a time without lian r6 and Sakura... But Since now You can choose the shimmer on the shimmer pull is not that bad
I feel he’d only be good with specific speed cleave teams or a prolonged fight. He’s definitely gonna need a support character that boosts speed and ignores defense. I can see him having potential with Xuan Pin, R6 Narmer/Su Jue, and Feng Xun but there’s no sustain or speed lead for that team. Granted I don’t think speed would matter too much against the teams he’s suited to counter, but Chu Yao can be an issue.
Scaling with atk while having hp scale on passive ( the one when you have higher hp, you nullify things) is a mistake, making it hard to build him as if you go full atk, he can't proc his passive, while if you go full hp, you deal no dmg 😂. they should just go all out on hp by making him scales with hp, or just change his passive to attack, kinda like Fatimah, but without self buff so yeah kinds useless to, only choice to buff him is increase the hp scaling or just completely scrap the atk scale, and go full hp
I run Li Ao imto Mavis teams when I want to use Tevor and he always targets Mavis. Li Ao… I was gonna get Petros but I might as well go for Wu You I don’t feel like he is worth it
he just seems like the Entire point of his existence is his passive. that's about it. aside from tht, he feels so outdated, especially in such an inhumanly oppressive tank meta.
calling it, next patch they're releasing an esper that supports petros just like they did with wu you with sakura and he'll become a pain in the ass to deal with

As his only problem is dmg, so doing this will definitely improve his performance
