- The glass lenses on E34 fog lights are almost always cracked or chipped to the point where replacement is required. I'll walk you through all the steps I took to replace mine with genuine NOS parts.
I purchased my lenses, as well as a number of other hard-to-find BMW parts, from @bavariansteeringwheels on Instagram. Check him out!

I have worked on so many cars by now, that I have gotten used to watch tutorials beforehand instead of just going and starting to rip everything appart. And with most cars it ends up being way more complicated than I would have immagined. But these E34s... man they are so easy to work on. Every single part I had to replace up until now had such an easy way to accessing it.
Thanks for the video. My car is a bit lowered and I need to jack car up to get my head under to see back of driving light - my driving lights don't seem to be locked in place. At least I now know what it should look like - you have provided the inspiration for me to sort this out over Xmas holidays.
Good job - enjoy your videos.

can you do a video about what we should look when buying a bmw 34
That's a solid suggestion, I might put a video like that together.

Excellent turorial!!!!!! I sent the Instagram guy a message so waiting to hear back. Hope he still has a pair left. But yes, I have the exact situation, both badly pitted and one broken with a hole in the middle. Did you consider replacing the bulb with a pair of LED's? Did this on my E39 and it was a game changer.
I bought a brand new pair for only 15$
Nice
Where?
