  • This is a play-through using Sagat in the SNES game Street Fighter II Turbo. Read on below for more information...
    Sagat is the 3rd of 4 bosses in this game. He is a regular playable character in it.
    ===== ABOUT SAGAT =====
    Famous fighting game Muay Thai fighter who got defeated by Ryu in SF1 and has been pretty mad ever since. Works for M.Bison and is one of the main antagonists of Ryu. Also has a blatant disregard for height genetics. Interesting fact: the SF3 series are the only Street Fighter games where Sagat has not appeared in.
    In SNES SF2T, Sagat is heavily toned down when compared to his World Warrior counterpart (obviously because he became a playable character). He has longer recovery times when doing his Tiger projectiles and his standing basics now obviously follow the rules of light, medium, and heavy. On the plus side, he gains a new special move called the Tiger Knee as well as the ability to throw. Another change includes his Tiger Uppercut knocking down standing opponents if it hits close up. Graphically-wise, he has a lot of new sprites/animations.
    ===== ADDITIONAL INFORMATION =====
    ---- Being the 3rd boss, he'll always appear as the 11th opponent when the player plays through single player mode.
    ---- He is the only SF2 boss that didn't get his name switched outside of Japan.
    ---- Despite the game's name, Street Fighter II Turbo on the SNES is actually a "semi-compilation", because it also features a Champion Edition mode. However, this mode is called "Normal" in the game.
    ---- In this version of the game, when a character is being controlled by the CPU and the character is facing right, when he/she walks forward, the walking animation will be a backwards walking animation. (has anyone else noticed this?)
    ===== ABOUT SNES SF2T =====
    This is regarded as one of the best games on the SNES, and with good reason. Obviously back in the 1990s after World Warrior came out for the console, everyone wanted to play as the bosses... so this is where Turbo came in, offering the four grand masters as playable characters as it's main draw. Not to mention as well as being able to play the Turbo/Hyper Fighting mode of the game at a ridiculously high speed if you used a hidden input code.
    The game came in a 20 Megabit cartridge, and you could tell that the storage was scarce... because some aspects from the Arcade version are still missing. Some of these aspects include the fact that the regular characters' losing portrait images on the Continue screen are not animated, and the Arcade skyscraper intro still being completely omitted. Also, the overall music and sound quality is slightly lowered as well when compared to the prequel World Warrior.

    Your video is really nice, at least it's real gameplay, not like all those "TAS" that are useless and don't teach us anything.
    Against your fight against Bison personally, I play a lot of defensive at the beginning but my method is not at all like yours, it's all funny. ^^

    In VS can you only play on the Japan stage? I can't figure out how to choose another level.

      On the next screen (after the character select screen), you need to press the Select button to get to the Stage Select section, where you can select a different stage.
