Loved their little scenes tonight, even though they were so short. And looking at the previews we've lots to look forward to! I'm glad that they could talk without getting to each other. And Bob didn't even notice Jackson's striking resemblance to his long lost son, Josh :) There's some Josh videos around on here and they're hilarious!
Clearly Jackson's "I think its best if we stay out of each other's way" comment was easier said than done. But we all knew that the moment he said it :D
I have to admit, this is definitely one if the best soaps going. Pretty damn good writers. Personally, I prefer Hollyoaks (probably just coz I'm a teenager), but I reckon they're on the same level. To be honest, most English soaps are pretty decent, apart from Eastenders, which is poorly written.
@XxEmilexX I'm from denmark myself, and there was a danish documentary ones made by journalists from other countries, and there was an american who went in to interview people in a bar when it had just open but he could not get people really to talk, before later when they had been drinking then they were a lot more happy and fun, danes can be very timid and shy :), so as long as they are not drunk and rude it's really not such a bad way to be portrayd :)
@durchhalter - Marc Silcock played Josh in 2006. If you search for 'Josh Hope, Emmerdale', you will find clips of him on here. I love Jackson more though! You're right. The ponytail was awful. English soaps always do this. They change or reuse actors and expect us not to notice.
@TVFILMBUFF right you are! Jackson clearly just proclaimed his intention, not his true feelings of the matter. He is obviously crazy about Aaron and vice versa. Yeah yeah, mind and heart seldom agree.
@frangipaniers8 I think they drink a lot on all english soaps :) there are always a lot of scenes from the local bar/pub. But people do that in real life too, when they finish work they have a pint
@dipsyhappy Not everyone does that. I hate how soaps portray that we all hang around in our local pubs every evening. People outside the UK then begin to believe that we do. I work in "a local pub" and we don't get a lot of regulars. I'm not criticising, I'm just making a comment.
@durchhalter As An American I have to admit Christian and Oliver is the best written and the best chemistry between any gay couple. JP and Craig is definitely second.

Ich bin immer noch nicht über z.B. das (zugegebener Maßen folgerichtige) Ende von Carsten und Lenny hinweg und Olli und Christian können mich momentan auch nicht wirklich begeistern, aber vergleichbare Probleme haben die Briten auch. ;-) Ehrlicher Weise muss ich sagen, seit dem versuchten Kuss mit Adam ist die Aaron bzw. Aaron&Jackson storyline mit das Beste, was Soaps im GLBT-Bereich zu bieten haben. Nur Carsten & Lenny waren imo vergleichbar gut.
