Summary: Aaron's surprised when Holly visits him at the garage and tells him that she's proud of him for coming out. Meanwhile, Paddy snaps at Viv's insensitivity about Aaron's sexuality.

I love how Cain is with Aaron. He just jokes around constantly, which just puts Aaron at ease. Ock, I love them all
Love Cain - "Alright ladies!" It's great that he was supportive of Aaron and let him know things are still the same and that he didn't see him different - he's family and that's it 😊
That is cute when Holly says "So, you're gay then?" and Aaron says "Yeah, it seems so." haha
Ashley says, "Good morning. How's things?" and Aaron replies, "What's it gotta do with you!?" haha

Cain is great. While his jokes are sometimes a bit crude, his making light of the situation is helping to put his nephew at ease.
Adam sounded like a TV presenter when he said "here's the girl that changed Aaron Livesly. Lol.😂

I love the fact that Holly supported Aaron instead of going crazy about it.
I get the feeling, that the person Aaron was most scared of telling was his uncle Cain. Then Cain says the queer as folk comment, and Aarons face says it all.
And cain said he'd bash Jackson too. At least cain changed and accepted Aaron.
This whole episode is a win of epic proportions. I heart Paddy so flippin' much. 'Rubber leotard' Priceless.
Also, I'm glad that Aaron is softening the tiniest bit without really changing who he is... I'm sure most of his teen angst was from denying who he is, and now that its out hopefully we'll see that smile more often. :-D

of sorts. Aaron complains about being walked to work, while of course
secretly loving it and when he entered the garage, he looked back at
P-Daddy for encouragement as if he really was 5 and it was the first
day of school. I guess in a way it is.

It's good to see some things change and some stay the same; Paddy walking him to work, him complaining but letting him and of course mouthing off to that stranger who said hello. Cain was brilliant, he's not walking around the subject, infact he's walking right through it, because he knows that gay or not Aaron is a bit of a hard head and he'd rather them good naturedly take the piss than awkardly avoid the subject. Good on them.
Paddy got a haircut. He looks so good.

It was the northern phrase 'nowt so queer as folk' meaning everyones a bit strange in their own way. Has the double conotation here though with Aaron being gay.
Nice scene between Holly and Aaron - he may not be such a wimp after all - but she's not such a ditz after all either :)

The title of the British and American TV show 'Queer as Folk' stems from the phrase 'Nowt so queer as folk' which was a phrase to describe the quirks and foibles everybody has. Later the word queer became a derogatory name for someone who was gay. I always liked the fact that the writers claimed back the word queer for its broarder meaning. I believe we are both right, but I'm a little further back in time than you!
