    Imagine if they had became as popular as cars.
    The amount of daily crashes would be far worse but life would certainly be more 'interesting'.

    Are Americans allergic to public transport?

    • @princecharon
      @princecharon Před 25 dny +8

      No, but American car companies hate it, and thus spend *a lot* to sabotage it in various probably-legal ways.

      No unlike your tiny country the US is large and public transport is a waste , as our population density is very low . i would have figured you school system would have at the least made sure to teach the basics of logistics wow I hope they do better for you .

      Ignorant comment 1000%. You should study.
      As an American, I studied. I found out Rockefeller and JP Morgan are the blame. 100 years ago, they told Henry Ford they would fire his ass if he made cars with quality and to stop working on the green hemp car. They told him "how the hell are we supposed to make money if the cars don't break or need oil?"

      Many decades ago, small cities in Indiana had trolley car systems and interconnecting routes to travel by train.
      The trolley car tracks and MANY railroad beds were abandoned or paved over. There are more old railroad beds with bridges in the woods here than operating tracks and bridges. Amazing how the bridges are all still standing and strong enough to drive a vehicle across without any maintenance.
      The common story is after WW2, GM bought the unprofitable trolley systems, shut them down for not making money and replaced them with their new diesel buses.
      Local hydro power dams were also abandoned around same time.
      A large local dam built in the late 60's by Army Corp of engineers did not add generators because the local utility company was not interested in buying the power at anywhere near market value.

      Oh wow. My comment got deleted.
      Read about Henry Ford and the green car. Rockefeller and JP Morgan wanted money and Ford wanted a cleaner world. They told him he'd be poor if he didn't do as told

      Mid-Atlantic accent was harsh in the 1930s. Worked well with low fidelity audio though.

    Why did kids have to talk so stupidly?
    Not only did the kid not fly, but he was also probably told what to say. 'sound excited and say- let's get going'
