I was desperate for us to sign him and Eze a few years back. Massive mistake not s aping those two up!
Good sunny afternoon Rich
Olise - yes please, without hesitation
Garcia - wouldn’t say no
Muci - certainly played well against us, could grow into our first team.
Cortinho - happily take him to the airport…..!
Good round up as always Rich. Massive few days and defining for next season… everything is crossed for Thursday and Monday nights.

Olise is going to City. The rest of us can dream but they wanted him previously and will be the team least detered by his injury record.
I would love them both from palace if we sale dugles
Our biggest problem is at the back and not the front of you can keep a clean sheet you always had a chance and we do have a soft underbelly. We have no idea what kind of money we have and I still think we will have to sell first and to me the one I would sell is Luiz as he has become a liability when it comes to give away stupid bookings. We certainly need another holding midfield player as moving the likes of MC ginn back takes so much away from the team. We also need a no nonsense center half not a player who can pass a ball but isn't quick enough or physically strong enough for the premier league.
I can't see Villa paying that sort of money, he would probably go to the Manchester clubs or Chelsea.
We missed out on him when us and Reading were in the Championship and he was leaving, you would need to pay 50 million, not worth it, he's worth ..maybe 30 million, don't let his form over the last month think he's worth anymore
Are you seriously this brain dead ??
He's been doing in consistently this season when he's been fit it's not just a one month thing.
Does Olise play on the right? Or would he play behind Watkins? Imagine him Rogers, Bailey, Watkins front 4 😮💨 only concerns with him is he’s quite injury prone
He usually plays on the right but could play in the SS role. We've got Diaby whose probably going to have a more consistent next season plus Buendia and Ramsey. So we can work around the injuries if they occur which he hasn't had that much really.
paying the premier league premium hasnt been emerys style so far and i dont see that changing.
Totally agree but I do feel it’s maybe about time Aston Villa pulled off a statement signing as we’re now on the up as a club..I feel the people working at Villa behind the scenes with Emery as manager can really make Aston Villa an exciting challenge for players like him..
Too predictable! Poor mans Riyad Mahrez! £60M too much! Ler him warm City Bench like Kalvin Phillips! We already have Diaby and Bailey! Id rather get Baena n Viega the two Spanish ballers! Class, skillful, Strong, and direct! 👍
Olise would be a coup.
Olise is too injury prone and will be overpriced. We’ll be looking to buy cheap and increase value, (like Rogers), or pick up quality free transfers, (like Tielemans). Villa won’t be in the market for players like Olise.
I disagree on that sure dabble in the free market pool there's some great players in there but when a player that is worth the transfer fee is available then you take it you're basically paying a transfer fee with all the bonuses that come with free players anyway so why not. He hasn't even had that much injuries if you think about.
@@dennisgoatimer1079 I hope you’re right about us having money to spend for the right players, but if you look back at Monchi’s history, as far as I know, this isn’t normally how he works. Given that talented Premier League players are normally overpriced, I personally can’t see Villa splashing big money on the likes of Olise. Time will tell.
@@supervillan326 Monchi is a stats man yea sure he scouts all across the board for the specific needs for that particular manager that does lead to bargains but it's ultimately the stats, the budget and the managers decision on the top how many candidates for that role that he gives for sake of argument let's say 10 he does like to give them a bunch of options after all. He then does try to get the best deal for that player that is Monchi's role. The clubs Monchi has been sporting director for haven't exactly been clubs on big budgets the Premier League is a whole different kettle of fish compared to Serie A and La Liga especially if you're not Real Madrid or Barcelona in that league you ain't going to be spending a lot per player.
Bargain deals for free CM Adrien Rabiot juventus, CB Mario Hermoso Act Madrid, DM Guido Rodriguez Real Betis.
I would honestly prefer to get Barkley for free over Rabiot for that role personally but there's some good options in the free market which we can exploit for sure.
