How to Set Up Pro Trailer Backup Assist - Full Walk-through for 2019

Ford Pro Trailer Backup Assist is one of the most innovative new features to come out in truck technology in the last several years. Towing trailers is difficult at best and backing them up is just a flat out pain. This technology offers a driver assisted backup program built into the truck specifically to offer back up technology to simplify the process of towing a trailer and we were very impressed with how this worked. We wanted to create a full walk-through guide to help with the set up of this cool feature.

Can you alter the trailer info, the measurements, if there was a change? Or do you have to enter it as a new trailer? I set my Travel Trailer up but have recently undersprung the axle for increased ground clearance, changing the measurements slightly.

Great Question Boomer16323, for what we understand, Ford has not yet added an edit feature, which we hope they do some time in the future. If you need to edit it then you would have to go back and re-setup your trailer again on a new entry.

Hey chuckv5150 your right we didn't show the trailer maneuvering around but we only have the one camera right now and we'll make sure to do that in a future video when we have more than one camera
