I've seen that from Lenni-Kalle Taipale since I was a kid, so two pianos at once isn't a miracle for some, but as someone who can only play one piano and not even say one word while at it, it's no easy feat. Also, I wouldn't be able to even play tambourine correctly if I knew the camera was rolling.

+RevolverPhantom Contrary to popular belief Surf is far from dead, it's just the mainstream music scene that has completely forgotten about it. There is actually a very thriving Surf scene comprised of bands and fans from all over the world. Take a gander at surfguitar101.com/ to learn more.
+RevolverPhantom There's a lot of surf influence in certain California indie bands. Check out La Luz & Shannon and The Clams for the most faithful adaptations of the style. Then, if you like garage/punk, there's a LOT of bands who are influenced by surf. It's not the same sound, but it's still a great one: FIDLAR, Ty Segall, Thee Oh Sees, Bass Drum of Death, Wavves, etc.

It's not that uncommon, particularly if you double as an organist - using multiple manuals is pretty common. They even make organs with multiple manuals (my dad used to play Hammonds with 2 and 3).

+meshbug Actually the sound was made popular by the Ventures and other Surf groups in the late fifties and early to mid sixties. Besides, if you were born in the sixties, you would have become aware of music in the disco age.

We didn't have no tarn-foolish electric guitars back then in them 50s and 60s. No siree bob! We used saddle spurs for picks, and buggy whips as drumsticks, and we were grateful to have them. They cost a whole penny at the general store.
But them were good days too. Both my folks had horseless carriages!

The reason that this video is so brilliant is because it shows that the lyrics and thus the sentiment, could be made anytime. I was born in '84 & raised on 60's and 70's music. Even though I know for a fact the original song was released in 2000, I can absolutely hear this being a song by the Crystals or the Shangri-las or any of the other girl groups that Phil Spector made. I think that is why this group is so brilliant: they can take lyrics and change them to a different time and they fit perfectly. Like when they did Party in the USA as a 1940s song which is one of the first one of their I've ever seen & it was downright brilliant & I've loved this ever since. Perfect setting & costumes every time, amazing voices, great dancing and with the instruments as well this is top brass performance!
