Albert and Gary, yeah baby! Albert "tried" to get Gary to slow down just a little bit (interview) but ultimately
also recognized that Gary had to do his thing. And he enjoyed his playing a lot, and vice versa :))

Just one more thing. Yes, Gary was a nice guy. I met Gary in Croydon and found him a really nice guy. I was with my two sons (aged 11 and 9 at the time), We spent a good few minutes chatting to he and he signed autographs for them and gave them both a Gary Moore plectrum each. Great memory.

SRV loved Albert's clean licks and you can hear Albert's influence when he plays. I would love to see you react to Texas Flood that Albert and Stevie did from that session. This was a great performance by two masters, but you should listen to the Allman Brothers do it live at the Fillmore.

Yep,the ultimate version is by The Allman Brothers Band,as much as I love Gary Moore - god how I would've loved to hear Gary play with The Allman Brothers Band,such a shame that never happened.
I was at this gig, best night ever watching two guitar virtuosos playing off each other.
A huge Gary Moore fan,one of the greatest,if not the greatest guitarist ever (in my opinion of course),but the ultimate version is from The Allman Brothers Band from Fillmore East in 1971.
Nobody played electric blues like BB, Albert , Freddie, muddy, buddy guy. Robert Cray, EC, SRV and Johnny Winter are a close second.
Watch Stevie Ray Vaughan and Mr King playing together.
SRV and King's "In Session" is one of my favorite albums.

The guitar that Gary Moore is playing,is now owned by Metallica's Kirk Hammet..You've probably seen him playing it..
Think that is one of his other Les Paul's, looking at the uncovered p/ups, one he called 'Stripe', bought from Phil Harris in 1988. V. similar to Greeny, but not it.
