    Thank you bro. I ordered one off Fromuth Pickleball and got some of your overgrips off Amazon so I can get the same look you had going. I used to love the amped inviktas back in the day and it's weird that although this paddle will fall short to some more modern offerings it makes a nice upgrade to Selkirk's OG model with some new features.

      Thanks for using my stuff :) And yes, compared to the original Amped paddle it's for sure giving you more.

    Thanks for the review! Unfortunately it seems Selkirk is still lagging behind everyone else in 2024. I was really hoping they would release something in the Air line without spray grit by now.

      @pickleballeffect  Před 2 měsíci +2

      They were low 1900 RPMs. Anything in the 1900s is a good result for me with the top spinning paddles being close to 2000 RPMs.

    The once again short handle length on the Invikta is a disappointment - they should make it 5.5” for all Invikta models

    Braydon, do you have any comment on the white-grey color in the center of the paddle. I find this super gimmicky & a game integrity problem when I play people who use the Luxx for example….hurts my vision, therefore anticipation & and hand speed at the net against them.

    • @pickleballeffect
      @pickleballeffect  Před 2 měsíci +1

      The grey didn’t bother me or the people I played as much as their white and black color they did with the power air but I agree, it’s still not great for visibility.

    No edge guard, but there is injected edge foam, right?

    • @pickleballeffect
      @pickleballeffect  Před 2 měsíci

      Correct, there is injected edge foam but it doesn't do as much for stability as an edgeguard does.

    Thanks for the review Braydon. I noticed the amount of camera angle changes was a bit too much as well. Also you did the same hand motion quite often. Granted you were holding onto the paddles the entire time, but just something to consider. Incorporating different handle gestures/motions will make the video more engaging for us viewers :). Keep up the great work.

    Paint grit= hard pass for me.Baffled Selkirk sticks with paint grit. Come on Selkirk!!
    If a after market grit sheet comes out w/o graphics (i.e.) blank, I'd consider a paint grit paddle.Clear would be ideal.

    Braydon, I would recommend you video editor not cut to much in and out around the angles, because it is a bit jarring to watch. It's just a little much cutting if you ask me.

    Selkirk paddles are overated, overpriced when you’re getting painted on grit that wears off pretty quickly
