Interested are they painted with the same grit as the Power Airs? If so after a week the face will become smooth and no spin potential……probably a great beginners paddle, as most beginners don’t use spin. If you are feeling sponginess, is it core crushing?

Do you prefer this over the Luxx? How is the control?
I feel I can generate my own power and I am thinking of the LUXX but the Amped looks good too and it costs less than the LUXX. Is the control dramatically better on the LUXX? Does the Amped feel "stiff" compared to the LUXX which I assume will feel more "plush"?
Yes. I have them both. The control on the Luxx is drastically better.
I don't play with either paddle right now, but if you need control don't get the power air. Sweet spot is pretty small.
I'm searching for a new paddle to upgrade from my current control paddle to one that gives more power or pop. However, the paddle selection on the market is overwhelming , and I usually give up on my search. I want my next paddle to be one that I can play with for one full year.
