I hope you're sitting down when you read this, because you might faint and get hurt: "The military" consists of PEOPLE, and far too many are "bad people". So yes, it is the military's fault. Look into the huge number of rapes that our male soldiers (heroes all) commit against our female enlistees and maybe you'll wake up. Then you can look up the large number of cases where they abuse and sometimes murder unarmed civilians abroad.

Something about Vanessa Guillen, when I first learned about her case prior to it being mainstream news, I was sadden. She had this good persona about her that drawn me into her case. I cried with her sisters and mom. Im sure she was a wonderful person and didn’t deserve to be treated as such and die in a horrific way. I hope and pray her family will find some peace when they get all the justice for her. 🙏🏼

The way groups like police departments & military groups have each other's backs is such a nice concept & ideal. It's unfortunate that it goes to the length of covering up the inhumane aspects. Everyone knows the "incompetence" that occurs is a convenient way to cover up. It's disgraceful that people in CID are comfortable with people who commit human crimes against their own group serving in the military. Giving them more opportunity, easy opportunity, to continue hurting people who they are supposed to help me safe. It breaks my heart knowing what the first woman to serve has to go through & wish every woman could comfortably come forward & have her case at least looked into, regardless of how much time has passed.
