Wasn't expecting the grand inquisitor to actually be kinda scary considering how he looks
For me the Syncro in the German Version doesnÂŽt really fit. For me itÂŽs too high an ruins how Scary he really is.

The girl thug was literally useless yep, and she ran like Pheobe in that one Friends episode.
It honestly felt like it was a staged chase with how silly and easily resolved it could have been - kind of like the bike chase

One thing that bothers me is that while there's a battle going on in the temple that Jedi master is just training her younglings without sensing any danger or sensing the death of the other Jedi through the force.
Master Kenobi I learned somewhere that since the Jedi temple is actually situated on an ancient Sith temple it shrouded the Force, weakening the Jedi's ability to sense darkness/danger and allowing the dark side to grow. This is also why Palpatine remained undetected.

Ngl I went into this expecting a pretty mediocre script and was only there for Ewan and Hayden but I was pleasantly surprised actually. Leia is great, and the worlds are awesome too and the world building as well actually. Minor criticisms is why does obiwan live in a cave, we saw that he does get a hut at some point and he's been living on tatooine for 10 years surely he would at least have a hut right it doesn't seem like tatooine has a housing crisis or anything. But that's a minor nitpick. Overall very much enjoyed (although its very clear rupert friend did not watch rebels lmao)

We could get to see his hut later. My only complaint in Reva, she is too good and knows too much, and what she did at the end of episode 2 is so lame it brought the episode down from like a 9 to a 7.5

@@ArkSucksAtGames agreed she was the weakest part of the first two episodes. Her character felt very forced. I am not worried about the Grand Inquisitor tho. Rupert Friend (GI actor) is also credited for episodes 5 and 6 so he's definitely alive and coming back.
Leia is annoying as hell she rebounded from super genius to toddler with no consistency, thereâs been 2 planets and one is boring and unoriginal. I could nitpick probably every scene in this show from giving the Jawa subtitles (if George didnât do it then why start now?) to obi wan trying hide the fact heâs a Jedi by dressing exactly like a Jedi. I think itâs very clear literally nobody on set watched rebels hell Iâm wondering if anyone even watched Star Wars before this cause how Obi Wan is supposed to protect Luke when he hasnât trained in a decade is ludicrously stupid.
Did anyone notice how the ignition button on Anakinâs saber is the same one as the ANH version?

I was pleasantly surprised by these episodes. I was kinda down because work was crap but these really cheered me up. The nostalgia from the Prequel catch-up montage in Episode 1, the chills I got from some moments in both episodes, no major spoilers though.
My heart skipped a beat when it turned out that Obi-Wan was the one who was buying a T-16 Toy (from a Jawa of all folks) for Luke and I wanted to punch Owen for just tossing it on the ground; it was beyond cruel. I know he wanted to protect Luke but from Luke's little podracing pretending, he clearly loves vehicles; so what if it was from "Ben"; Luke would've loved that T-16.
As for the Grand Inquisitor; after all the belly aching, I actually think they made him quite imposing. And seeing as the yellow eyes sort of come and go with his intimidating mood is a good way to base this animated character in live-action. âșïž

The younglings being able to just run straight to the exit was kinda cringe tbh. Was lowkey hoping Anakin would intercept them with his Youngling-slayer 9000.

My only nitpick is during the beginning the Grand Inquisitor just kinda tells an entire saloon that the inquisitors hunt jedi when showing them killing a jedi would have been more effective. Show don't tell rule of film making

This show is either going to be the show that shows us that Disney knows star wars and is going to do it right, or the show that shows us that star wars will never come close to be as good as it once was, I enjoyed the first 2 episodes, my only complaint is why is OBI-WAN in a cave, maybe it'll show how he got his house idk, and my only other thing that bothered me is why did the inquisitors not let the 3rd sister kill owen? In fallen order the 1st sister was about to kill a whole train of people just to kill 1 jedi, but now they can't kill 1 family?

I have to be honest, the first time it cut to Alderaan, I was first blown away by the beauty, and then immediately said out loud "Oh god, please, this is supposed to be about Kenobi, NOT AGAIN!!!" But was pleasantly surprised with how quick they tied everything together, I was afraid we would have another TBOBF where we spent a whole episode with Leia. It seems they learned their lesson! Nice to see!

Ngl, I liked these episodes way more than I thought I woulld, as I pegged them as just filler until Vader shows up. Ended up really liking Reva's character. Yes, she's an asshole, impulsive, flawed and a bit too thirsty for blood, that's why I like her. We NEED an inquisitor that can actually be killed in this series, and she fits that niche so well. She's already making the other inquisitors mad, and she seems to be smart and strong. I could really see myself enjoying a fight of her against Kenobi or another inquisitor, and I wouldn't complain if she didn't get stomped on by Kenobi either, as I definetly would with anyone but the grand inquisitor (and even then, he'd probably lose pretty hard). Her? Yeah, I could believe that she'd be able to trade a few blows with Kenobi and live to tell the tale, definetly not win, but survive nontheless. She's def getting killed by the end of the series though, and that's something that makes me like the character more, as they have free range to do with her as they please

Funny thing is that if she dies it probably wonât even be Obi Wan who kills her. It might be Vader because she goes around saying how he was, or the grand inquisitor because heâs sick of her and also revenge for getting stabbed.

Hopefully Iâm proven wrong since he was the Jedi master of defense while she was just a little padawan, but if he can barely lift up Leia then I doubt he can fight her. Doesnât make sense since in like seven to nine or so years from now he is able to kill maul in three hits and hold his own against Vader

Honestly I never really liked the concept of inquisitors being force sensitive saber wielders. It's just too obvious that the goal is to allow for lightsaber duels in post-RotS spin-offs. By ANH force users are supposed to have gone extinct to such a degree and for such a long time that full-grown, well-traveled adults like Solo believe it's nothing more than a legend. Doesn't make much sense to me that people in outer rim worlds like Tatooine would see inquisitors wave their saber around and use the force without batting an eye...
I like the idea behind them being cunning tricksters who play on the Jedi's altruism, but IMO they should've gone the whole way on this front. Make them use their smarts to kill jedi, not sabers and force powers.

Well letâs remember that by ANH like what over half the inquisitors are dead. Letâs see the grand inquisitor dies in an explosion, one falls to his death, and Maul kills what like 3, plus maybe Reva dies in this series maybe. Also later on in the bad batch maybe weâll see Ahsoka get her white lightsabers and when she got them she killed an inquisitor. So yeah by ANH most of the inquisitors were dead.

@@sofia7816 at this point Bail Organa is the leader of the rebel alliance. He would send Fulcrum (Ashoka) on missions for him. He wouldâve sent Ashoka to get Leia he knows how important it is for Obi-wan to watch Luke. Obi-Wan knows Vader is Anakin from ROTS. Vader killed anyone who knew that he was Anakin itâs not something that just anyone knows. Even if Reva was at the Jedi temple when it became the imperial palace she most likely wouldnât have seen this recording because most records were destroyed. And the people who went to capture Leia they just so happened to forget they could stun her.
