Berserk Fan Animation: "Beasts"

- EDIT 16/9/2021: Damn, this is still doing numbers, huh? Seeing as this is the case, I want to double-clarify this: I DIDN'T ANIMATE THIS. I'm the VA and I was given permission by the animators to upload it to my channel as an example of my voicework!
Over the past month I've been given the opportunity to participate in this fan animation for Berserk, and I've been given the permission by the animators to share it! I provide the voices of Guts and the Beast in this animation. Hope you enjoy!

It’s not perfect, but I like this stylized take on animating berserk. That sort of “hyper-handrawn” look really fits the tone. And I think that’s the best thing about this animation, it really gets the tone right. Berserk for me has never been about the awesome fights, but the parts in between of characters sitting alone and thinking to themselves. Guts’ moments of introspection are what put Berserk above every other manga IMO.
But rambling aside, I like this. I know this is a year late, but I hope you improve at your art, because you can nail a tone very well.
Also, Rest In Peace, Miura.

It looks like the author of How to Train Your Dragon 'Cressida Cowell' took her hand at
adapting Berserk. (If you think that book series is nothing like Berserk you are dead wrong!)
Can you elaborate? I never read the books but the movies look nothing like Berserk.
@@luisnunes443 Well, while looking deceptively cartoony, and funny in the
early books HTTYD as a book series starts taking a serious darker
undertone book 8 onwards the artwork getting progressively
darker 'and more realistic in places' as it reaches the conclusion.
You could see a little bit of Cressida's current art style if you
look up her channel viewing the reading of 'Break a Dragons Heart' or
'Wizards of Once.'

doesn't even come close
to that tear stained
impact of that ending!

The Edge Chronicles by Paul
Stewart & Chris Riddell.
It too's got an very Berserk
vibe in it's storytelling
and artwork.
Probably more so than HTTYD
even.

It's the very first chapter of the Conviction arc, after the lost children arc.
Its after he killed rosine, before he gets captured by the holy iron chain knights

For more context, the Conviction arc is divided by two chapters: the lost children and the rebirth chapters...
