For customers seeking enhanced off-road capabilities and bold looks to match, the new GMC Sierra 1500 All Terrain X is designed to be a premium-grade full-size pickup that’s perfectly at home either on the open road or off the beaten path.
In true GMC fashion, the Sierra 1500 All Terrain X provides plenty of capability. A powerful 5.3-liter V-8 engine is standard, while a new stainless steel performance exhaust system delivers both a bold exhaust note and increased performance. In fact, with 33 percent less backpressure than the stock exhaust, All Terrain X’s performance exhaust provides a 10-horsepower gain over the base 5.3-liter V8, bringing peak power ratings to 365 hp at 5600 rpm and 383 lb-ft of torque at 4100 rpm.
The Z71 Off-Road Suspension package is also standard on All Terrain X, and includes off-road tuned monotube Rancho dampers, an underbody transfer case shield, and an advanced hill descent control system, which leverages the anti-lock brake system to provide a smooth, controlled descent down steep grades. Additionally, the Sierra 1500 All Terrain X’s unique black-painted 18-inch wheels are wrapped in rugged Goodyear Duratrac Mud-Terrain 265/65R18SL tires.
Four-wheel drive is standard, as is an Eaton automatic locking rear differential. In situations with low traction, this differential automatically channels power to the wheel with the most traction in order to keep the Sierra All Terrain X moving forward.
All Terrain X builds upon the bold exterior treatment forged by the Sierra All Terrain with unique exterior elements. A new black sport bar is standard equipment, and provides a convenient mounting point for LED off-road lights, which are available as a dealer-installed accessory. New black sport steps further provide a rugged appearance while simultaneously improving cab entry and egress.
Body-colored door handles and body side moldings - along with matching bumpers and grille surround -- gives the Sierra 1500 All Terrain X a clean, bold monochromatic appearance. Black beltline moldings and black B-pillar appliques are also unique to the Sierra 1500 All Terrain X, and complement the distinctive black chrome grille insert. High-performance LED headlamps, which include GMC’s signature LED daytime running lamps, are also standard on the Sierra 1500 All Terrain X.
The Sierra 1500 All-Terrain X is available on Sierra SLT All Terrain double- and crew cab models, and only in Onyx Black, Stone Blue Metallic, Summit White, Iridium metallic, Light Steel Gray, or Crimson Red Tintcoat exterior paint colors. Look for the All Terrain X to arrive at GMC dealers nationwide in late spring of 2016.

BEAUTIFUL TRUCK! planing on trading in my chrysler 200! I hope I can come out with a good monthly payment for this truck. I'll do anything to get this baby. I feel in love with it once I seen it gave it a test drive. Now I need it n won't be happy till I'm driving one.
Thank you for a great video and extremely informative. If I could make one positive critique. You had some great shots ie the undercarriage drive over shot and a few others which you put that "white filter and description" over and it takes away from the great work. Maybe post it off in a corner or maybe under the images of you speaking. Overall great review and thank you.

Hi, I just recently bought this truck and I am just wondering how does performance exhaust look like because my truck has different exhaust. Is the performance exhaust comes with the truck or the dealer has to install afterwards.?
The performance exhaust comes from the factory I believe - we don't have any in stock anymore or I'd go check it out for you! Hope you love it though, the truck is awesome!
Hi, I went back to the dealership, they told me that performance exhaust is not a part of package in Canada but its part of package in US. Then he showed me the both US and Canada website, it doesn't show performance exhaust in Canada but it though show on US website. Then I talked to GMC support centre to get me the answer. May be I will get the answer in one week.

There's multiple levels of the Sierra that start in the high $20k price range, but the All Terrain X Package starts around $50k with the double cab size.
