This was a blast to watch! Incredible performance and video. Thank you so much for playing this!
That means a ton from a player and composer like you Russell
An unexpected metronome saving a seemingly hopeless situation...
Nice. Very clever name.
loved this considering I played Dues Ex Machina in my concert band this year, this was really cool
Haha that’s another really fun piece! Appreciate it, Steven! 🙏🏼🙏🏼
Spectacular drumming brother, every solo you do is absolutely flawless and buttery. Wish I could get a lesson from you. I have never had a drum lesson, but have been playing for years
A lot of people don’t really understand the technicalities behind this piece. With that being said, a band nerd of 12 years; well played.
Haha it’s all good! Not all of our content is to please the algorithm. Sometimes we make stuff that we just really enjoy, and we are really glad you enjoyed it too!! 🙏🏼
@@ApexPercussion that’s good. Sometimes you gotta do things for you. I’m also impressed at how often you try to react with your fan base. I know the bigger you grow it’ll be hard to keep up, but it seems like you guys try to stay on top of it. Great job!
Super dope! More solos please
The MRI machine sounds at 1:17 triggered my fight or flight 😂 y’all are killing the content.
Fantastic video work, fantastic playing, and such a great piece!
Thanks Keaton!! Glad you enjoyed it!!
Tennessee Tech bros
Wickedly impressive.
Amazing concept I love and appreciate it...amazing
That was incredibly entertaining
The build up is fantastic and once it gets going it just keeps getting better 😁
Really enjoyed this!
I enjoyed this, really interesting content. Reminded me almost of a video game 🎮, respect!
Thank you!! It was a ton of fun to shoot!
Uuuhhhhhhh thats kinda what deus ex was.... A video game...
@@dpriot420 well glad I figured it out! Then he was right on track, given I don't play video games... the fact that I could identify the common beat patterns used in video games to garner psychological investments makes me feel good. However it does not discount the complexity of his snare work which ultimately is the point. I do appreciate you familiarizing me with this being a reality.
Super fun! A bit like if chiptunes and math metal had a tight technique baby. Enjoyed it quite a bit.
That was amazing! I loved the transition from brushes to sticks! Remember how I said you guys were part of what inspired me to learn the bagpipes? I ordered my first set yesterday and they should be here by the 10th!
Oh wow!! Have a blast learning, such a cool instrument!
@@ApexPercussion do you think you could rewrite a Bodhrán drums piece for a snare?
@@vrknyght8207 uh maybe? Haha hard to know!
@@ApexPercussion I know that the two do synergize very well. Maybe composing an accompaniment to one?
Great job. My favorite channel. ❤
Hey guys, do you know anything about Brazilian music? Here in Brazil we play many percussion instruments, in typical rhythms of our country, as in the Brazilian carnival, for example.
Oh really? Only one percussion instrument exists in the U.S.
That's crazy, dude.
Great video was that a concert snare Head?
This is far too abstract and sophisticated for my musical smooth-brain to comprehend. Fascinating nonetheless, though.
I like those pants it makes it look like he's sagging
Great drumming, the metronome and techno music didn't do anything for me.
this is so boring meen!
How so-
