I feel sad for Samanta Tina. I mean, I didn't like her song this year either, but she applied for ESC so often and then in 2020 she had a song that might have made it to the finals, but Covid ruined everything for her. :/

Well I don't know, I not sad for her because she made one song by her choice, batter way was how did Israel and Spain make 2 songs or more and made us vote, yes I am from Latvia, her fans will like her song but how about us who is not her fans, best choice was if she makes more songs if I and Latvia eurovision fans can vote her best one or set eurovision Latvia if we can vote new 2021 singer from Latvia or Samanta with that song who in fact didn't made in final. I Benny, kao i Lesley, Rafal i Roxen su imali dovoljno kvalitetne, urbane i hitične pjesme koje bi, ocjenjujući studijsku verziju, definitivno bile u finalu, ali uživo su vokalno bili jako neubjedljivi i slabi, pri tom im ni scenski nastupi nisu bili efektni i zanimljivi već ''mlaki'' i neinspirativni te ih je za to kaznio i žiri a i publika, skroz zasluženo su ispali u polufinalima...
S druge strane, Uku je imao decentnu i solidnu pjesmu koja je moderne produkcije, ''radio friendly'' i slušljiva, performans na sceni je bio moćan i originalan, držao je pažnju i pjevački je bio korektan, dakle nije tu bilo nikakve greške sa njegove strane, međutim pjesma nema onaj ''wow'' efekat u završnici/kulminaciji po kome bi ostala zapamćena nego je totalno ravna od početka do kraja (još je nastupao pod baksuznim brojem 2), pa je zbog toga (nezasluženo) ispušio. :/

Denmark was televote's #7, but it got destroyed by the juries. It ended up 11th overall.

My personal top with some comments
13 - Poland 🇵🇱 Not much to love about this. It's not bad bad, but it isn't good either. Also, Rafał's presence on stage is a little cringe-worthy...
12 - Georgia 🇬🇪 Bland and forgettable. I tend to love ballads, but this one doesn't tell me anything.
11 - North Macedonia 🇲🇰 I don't dislike this song, and I do like the Lion King vibe (lol), but it's just a little boring...
10 - Romania 🇷🇴 I know people love the song, but I can't with her vocals. I feel sad for her, but the song doesn't do much for me.
9 - Slovenia 🇸🇮 Powerful voice! I love the last part, but sadly the rest of the song falls short in contrast.
8 - Czech Republic 🇨🇿 Nothing special, to be honest. His vocals weren't the best either.
7 - Latvia 🇱🇻 Love Samanta, powerful voice too, but the song didn't do her any favours. I wish the song was only the parts where she sings "moon is rising".
6 - Ireland 🇮🇪 Contrary to Latvia and Slovenia, cool song but unfortunately she couldn't pull of the live vocals. Also, the staging was a bit of a mess...
5 - Estonia 🇪🇪 Average song, decent voice. Loved the style in the stage but it wasn't that great either.
4 - Austria 🇦🇹 Great voice, not so great song, but not bad either. Pretty average overall.
3 - Australia 🇦🇺 I think this is quite unpopular, but I love her voice in this song! You can feel the emotion and I really liked the song too!
2 - Croatia 🇭🇷 Fun song, great voice. I love the dance-y vibe, I'm really sad she didn't qualify, but that semi was brutal.
1 - Denmark 🇩🇰 I just LOVE this performance. Everything's about it is pure fun, the 80's vibe is an amazing add-on too. I'm still mad Moldova and Albania got through to the final over this one...
The fact: If Denmark would have qualified instead of Albania, all of Nordics would have qualified in the GF of Eurovision for the first time since 2014.
Chez Republic had an amazing performer, with the most beautiful smile. It's so unfair he didn't qualify

13: Czech Republic - as much as I hated this, I’m slightly shocked this didn’t qualify. However his performance was terrible so I can’t blame him for getting no televote points
12: Georgia - like Czech Republic I hated Georgia. However, I knew from the second it was announced that Georgia won’t qualify.
11: North Macedonia - meh staging but semi final 1 was strong af
10: Slovenia - like North Macedonia, staging was meh but semi final 1 was strong.
9: Austria - not my forte tbh but it’s okay I guess. Felt like this should’ve qualified though.
8: Denmark - this got worse to me over time. Still can not comprehend how this didn’t qualify though.
7: Poland - given the poor reception this song received I knew it wasn’t qualifying at all.

5: Latvia - terrible vocals but I loved this song.
4: Ireland - this was by far one of the most ambitious stagings of the year. I know her singing wasn’t on point but it should’ve qualified for the staging alone.
