That one was the best performance of the eurovision night... If didn't appear first, the result would have been different... For sure... But Elena was the real winner of ESC 2021.
Cyprus, San Marino & Azerbaijan were robbed & deserved a much higher placing. I voted for all 3 but personally Azerbaijan was my winner followed by San Marino. I think the problem’s are the following: A) it went first b) the live version didn’t stand out (whereas the studio version you can listen to on repeat - not saying it’s bad (it’s certainly not) but it missed the extra oomph)) C) Elena Tsagrinou did not exude charisma (unlike Eleni Foureira who managed to turn what is effectively an average song into a legendary performance) and so I think that’s what dragged Cyprus down as she just seemed wooden and plastic. However, as I said at the beginning I voted for Azerbaijan, San Marino and Cyprus many times so my critique is not negative. from the UK🇬🇧🥳🇦🇿🇸🇲🇨🇾

@@Zagredof δεν είναι ωραίο αυτό που λες γιατί εδώ και χρόνια εμείς ειμασταν για γέλια όχι η Κύπρος! Ευτυχώς φέτος με την Στεφανια ξανά ανεβήκαμε! (Και κατά την γνωμη μου η Έλενα αδικήθηκε πολύ γιατί είχε όλο το πακέτο)
Όλοι λέγανε το Ελ διάβολια θα πάει 3αδα και μπορεί να κερδίσει κιόλας... Για το last dance με το κοριτσάκι μας την είχανε στην απέξω αλλά τελικά τα έδωσε όλα στον τελικό και έφτασε στην 10η θέση ενώ η αρχηδιαβολησα βυθίστηκε στα τάρταρα.

That one was the best performance of the eurovision night... If didn't appear first, the result would have been different... For sure... But Elena was the real winner of ESC 2021.
Cyprus, San Marino & Azerbaijan were robbed & deserved a much higher placing. I voted for all 3 but personally Azerbaijan was my winner followed by San Marino. I think the problem’s are the following:
A) it went first
b) the live version didn’t stand out (whereas the studio version you can listen to on repeat - not saying it’s bad (it’s certainly not) but it missed the extra oomph))
C) Elena Tsagrinou did not exude charisma (unlike Eleni Foureira who managed to turn what is effectively an average song into a legendary performance) and so I think that’s what dragged Cyprus down as she just seemed wooden and plastic.
However, as I said at the beginning I voted for Azerbaijan, San Marino and Cyprus many times so my critique is not negative.
