Is buying a refurbished Mac worth it? In this video, I will show you the unboxing of a refurbished iMac Pro that I bought from the online Apple Store. I was able to save close to a thousand dollars and I was able to get a very cool-looking and powerful Mac! I don't see anything wrong buying refurbished as the product that I received had no cosmetic damages and works just like a brand new one. I will also show you my current workstation setup with the iMac Pro and my Wacom Cintiq 22 each mounted on their own Ergotron HX Monitor Arms.

Hi there! I used a VESA mount adapter that I found on Amazon. It attaches directly to the stand of the iMac Pro. If you search on Amazon "VIVO Adapter VESA Mount Kit, Bracket Set for Apple 21.5 inch and 27 inch iMac" you should be able to find it. It works for the iMac models that don't have removable stands like this iMac Pro.

@@Danboarding I just opened my 24” refurbished $230 off and I REALLY believe that they ARE BRAND NEW packaged along side sold as new in refurbished labeling that Apple sets aside to sell as refurbished as maybe tax break or something. I would have to investigate that.
      What do you think?

@@ronsmith4330 First of all, congratulations on the good deal that you got on your 24" refurb! If you are asking me, I don't believe they are brand new; they probably are units that were returned. When I closely examined mine, I can see very, very faint signs that it has been used before. Luckily Apple must have really stringent procedures in refurbishing their returned products, which is great because when we buy refurb, we can expect that they are in great condition! I also learned the reason why my unit was returned by the first owner: anytime I restart or shut down and start again, my unit would ask me to re-install the OS. Because of this I only put the unit to sleep to avoid the re-install procedure. No files go missing, for just some strange reason it would do that every time I restart or shut down and reboot, say, when I am moving the unit around for office maintenance. Still, not a reason to buy Apple refurbished products! I would do it again and actually am always checking out the refurbished section to see what deals I can get my hands on, LOL!
