    I don't know why but you sound so sweet and so easy to listen to, thank you for this review! I've been thinking of replacing my current display tablet with the Cintiq 22 and I've decided with this video that I might do just that! And get the arm as well. :DD

      Thank you for your kind words! It is a more modern upgrade to any old display tablet, in my opinion. The Ergotron Arm is very sturdy and has not trouble carrying the weight of this unit. I have hopes that you will be as satisfied as I was with my purchase.

    • @Danboarding
      @Danboarding Před 3 lety +1

      @@ArtofLuba That is indeed strange. They probably mentioned that because the Cintiq 22 is not very heavy and they probably are worried that it may be to light. However, I have no issues with it. Straight out-of-the_box the tension of the arm is perfect for the Cintiq 22, well, at least in my experience.

    tbh, i prefer the old 4:3 aspect ratio, it's look nice when you rotate them vertically, just like ipad pro.
    while 16L9 look really awkward when you rotate them vertically.

    • @Danboarding
      @Danboarding Před 3 lety

      I see what you mean, and in a way I do agree. There are some advantage and disadvantages of both when it comes with the aspect ratio of the screen. The 4:3 aspect ratio feels bigger to me, especially with the applications that I used to work with it. This current 16:9 aspect ratio is slowly growing on me and I have started to appreciate how the horizontally-favored orientation works well for the apps that I am using. I rarely rotate it this one as much as I rotate my old 21UX. But yes, I do agree with you that it does feel awkward when rotated vertically.

    Thank you for video. Please tell, is wacom cintiq 21ux still worth to buy in 2020? Is it really big difference between the screen quality with 22"? (I have 16'' cintiq but want to change on 21ux). Thanx.

    • @Danboarding
      @Danboarding Před 3 lety +1

      Hi there. I think a newer model Cintiq such as this one would be better, but if you can still find a brand new 21UX, then that would be fine. To be honest, I don't see much difference in screen quality, the only difference being just the aspect ratio (21UX is 4:3, Cintiq 22 is 16:9). I just preferred this newer version so that I would get the newer port connections (USB and HDMI). However, the 21UX has the bonus of having those assignable buttons too, which is nice. The Cintiq 22 does not have any. I am not sure how much a 21UX is right now, but you can probably compare the price to the Cintiq 22 to see where you can save a bit of money. Hope that helps!

    • @ivanageenko1279
      @ivanageenko1279 Před 3 lety +1

      @@Danboarding Thanx for your reply, that helps! Didn't find any information about comparison of this models. I want to buy a used 21UX for the same price as new cintiq 16. So if there is not much difference in the quality of the screen, then it is better to change to a large. Another problem is less pressure levels in 21UX. Or it is doesn't feel that way?

    • @Danboarding
      @Danboarding Před 3 lety +1

      @@ivanageenko1279 When I was using my 21UX I had not problems with having lesser pressure levels compared to the newer, "Pro" models. I think if you want the bigger screen then you might be safe with the 21UX. I only mentioned the pro models because I do wished I had more money and went with a pro one as with the 21UX and this current Cintiq 22 that I have, parallax (the distance or offset between the tip of the pen and the cursor that you see on screen) is quite evident and sometimes affected how I draw. The pro models boast having almost no parallax. I read somewhere that if the screen is laminated, which makes it thinner, then the parallax is lessened. I suspect that the 21UX and the Cintiq 16 should have the same parallax level, so if you want the bigger screen then you're probably going to get the same quality. I hope that helps, I do hope it's information that is correct as I am only basing my experience on the 21UX that I've owned.

      I can't remember if there is a piece of any plastic inserts that are in the joints of the monitor arm during unboxing, but maybe you should check that nothing is still int there. Sometimes manufacturers puts those plastic inserts to prevent joints from moving. I can't fully remember, but maybe worth checking. Also, please refer to the user manual just in case something is mentioned there about how to adjust and loosen the tilt function. Sorry if I was not very helpful. Also, it may be worth contacting Ergotron customer service about the issue. Good luck!

      @@Danboarding You were right. Nowhere in the instructions was this listed, but on the tilt, mine has an extra bar that is screwed into it.. that prevents it from full tilt. After noticing that yours does not have this, I removed it and it works perfectly now. I think they added this for the HX with TILT combo that is probably more geared for Monitor use than tablets.
