Sir pls speak about the ohlins suspensions for interceptor. It costs around 95k for both front and rear . What are the advantages of it?
This ecu unlock is much better suited for any engines with forced induction aka turbos!
Guys please don't waste an arm and a leg for 4 bhp increment at crank...its a waste of money... instead get proper riding gear...
Even if you had the brain and money to install a turbo and a charge pipe and all the necessary engineering and logistical support its just not worth it...better go for inline 4 bike.
Royal enfield went through thorough R&D(research and develepment) so we can enjoy the motorcycle for a long period of time if we do all scheduled maintenance on time.
Also fiddling around with your recommended engine tuning will have the probability for major damages and mainly will void the warranty which could be heavy on our pockets.
Do this at your own risk.

@@prithvireddy6318 Not being indenial it won't be helpful but in realistic terms it does not do much in terms of managing airflow. The new ecu update RE provided has rectified the issue when O2 levels are lower than normal(air flow issue) . RE is fixing the issues since it is a big task with the current workforce and a new motorcycle and platform. The ecu remaps were purposed for turbocharged or supercharged engines.
For example my bmw 335 f30 chassis has a JB4 tune and yes I get a total increment of close to 100hp at crank. And it cost me a total of about 30k inr...now thats worth it.
but I had to change the charge pipe to an aftermarket metal alloy piece...
to conclude all im saying is this individual bulu has a slip on exhaust...does nothing major than the asthetical change and sounds loud...the OEM exhaust is loud enough in my opinion.
People can do what they want but I cant allow people to be ill informed and inthis case spend close to 20000 rupees to damage the engine in the long run.
RE provided us a affordable motorcycle +500cc's now accessible to lot of youngsters...lets try and save their hard earned money for something more useful.

horsepower is just a number dude..its about the improvement in ride quality ..first take a ride and judge..it makes day and night difference..the ride is now completely smooth and responsive.. the bike runs noticeably cooler and the power delivery is way too crisp.. horsepower is not the only concern..it makes the ride whole lot enjoyable...its like comparing a Lamborghini and a Rolls Royce..more horsepower doesnt lead to more pleasant and luxurious ride..though Rolls Royce has less power and Horsepower it rides way too smoother and stress free

its commonly understood that to feel any noticeable difference you need a gain of atleast 5bhp at the rear wheel. these figures will hardly be noticed when actually riding. perhaps when riding alongside another same model you will see differences.
better option would be to get a free flowing air filter, exhaust and trying to make the bike lighter by using plastic fenders as opposed to metal ones etc.

The Dynamometer tests graphs shown here will vary once you load the bike, these are negligible increase numeric values. The parameters defined by Royal Enfield is at natural sweet point and a refined power delivery. RE has done a lot of R & D and months of testing. Any changes in ECU remapping needs multiple parameter monitoring that includes mechanical, electronic behavior and vehicle dynamics.
I believe Bulu Bhai can provide more updates after his tests and experience on his Bike. I believe in Bulu Bhai that he finds certain things that are very true and needful like Bike behaviour at high altitudes. Thanks for solving problems for the masses.

In a stock NA (naturally aspirated) engine like the one on RE interceptor the gains will be minimal so if one looks at it from "cost per bhp gained" perspective it will be close to Rs. 7-10,000/- hence making this too expensive and not worth it.
After market ECU mods typically make sense in engines with Turbo or Superchargers/force induction where it is possible to have as much as 20% performance gains over stock.
Secondly one must consider the fact that RE interceptor engine's other components such as Fuel Pump, digital CDIs for ignition and especially the fuel injectors- are designed to perform with certain parameters which an after market ECU by nature pushes all of them to their maximum limit in order to dump more fuel into the combustion engine and also advance or retard the ignition timings based on the fuel map thus, exponentially increasing the chances of early failure. Imagine someone getting this mod done for extensive touring and getting stuck in the middle of nowhere due to component failure... Not a pleasent experience is it?
In short stick to stock... Common wisdom suggests there is no replacement for displacement!

people dont know how to read graphs!! Forget 3-4hp (almost 10% in a n/a engine), its not about peak power, this engine was never developed for peak power. This ecu provides a noticeable increase in torque throughout the entire powerband in a stock engine. The real question is how much this cost in terms of fuel consumption and/or emissions (nothing is free in thermodynamics).

Hero X-pulse has a different ECU. Interceptor has twin injector connection and a different mapping

i dont trust race dynamics with bikes, they are best for petrol and diesel cars . But bikes i would go for something like Aracer .

U have tested it in only 3rd gear. (may be thats the point wer Powertronic got 2-3hp gain. MAX )
please show us in all gears. 1,2, IMPORTANT 3,4,5,6 . Because this is wer we run the bike most.
Also show us the gain on wheels. only power at crank will not make sense . because there are various factors after crank shaft.

They only change the characteristics of the bike. Powertronic will change the way your bike gets from 0-100 as opposed to the stock ecu

If it's 390 than you don't need it. It is going to significantly affect engine and is going to unnecessarily put stress on it. It is around 25k, but frankly you don't need to.

Bro just use the stock one ....why do u waste 15-20k on this ...47hp is more than enough
its 4.1 bhp 47HP to 51.15.. Approx 10% gain..Adding Free flow exhaust and K&N Filter would have more impact... but then the maps are static between 1 & 2. There are others available who customize, but those are for cars..
even 1 bhp increase on wheels makes a difference while riding but its an amazing product
