    I've done honey burns the last 2 years. Slow and complete... to a black char, and even at that point, the smoke still smells sweet. I then leave the can at the bait in front of the trail cam with video, and every time that was the first thing they went for. They didn't touch the bait till they were satisfied they cleaned the can out as best they could.

    • @DanielSturge
      @DanielSturge  Před 2 lety +1

      I don't ever leave the can because they always took off with it and I never liked having my trash spread around. I just bang whatever is left In the bottom over my bait.

    How about that. They opened a bear season here in Oklahoma about 10 years ago or so but I haven't had any luck with it. I've had bears on camera but they just vanish about a week before season opens, this may help

    Another great video. Have you ever had bears come right in, while you were doing your honey burn?

    • @DanielSturge
      @DanielSturge  Před 2 lety

      I have had them come in immediately after I've left from doing it but never while I was there.
