- Is the hype real? Is the C5 and C6 Vette the best bang for the buck drift car? Odi Bakchis is building this C6 into a street able drift car to find out. On this episode we install a Duraflex wide body kit, Feal 442 coilovers, Parts Shop Max knuckles, Kansei rims, Falken Tires, and we align and corner balance the car.
Sick Corvette maybe you could do a battle between yours and Matt's demo Corvette at the track some day.
Loving these vids can't wait for the next part
Odi the suspension expert.
Killer Cow Odi would need add mo’ powah cause matt’s car makes 500hp
I love the effort that goes into making it look good.
Nice 👍 Can’t wait to see how you handle the electronic nannies and manage engine temps.
It's an amazing looking car!!! U made me so jealous man!! Nice videos 👌
Keep the videos coming Odi!!!
I wonder if any of these parts are straight forward to install? 🤔 haha looking good excited to see this thing on track!
Really good information
Shocking! Looks good 👍🇨🇦🔥
These have almost like a cantilever suspension in the rear never knew that.
Looks so good but all I see is $$$
I always thought you completely rebuild the engines for drift/track cars. Very cool to see you build the car though!
Just for competition cars, this one is just for non competitive fun
Nice vids Frenemies!! Can you tell a little more about fitment and quality of the duraflexkit, were you bought it? Thanks!
Wew Odi gave me tips an making an vette. Because my dad owns one and he runs Falken tires and feal suspensions on all four sides. It's for street use only =) and have a nice day Odi
This is Love from poland (I'm not related to Piotr Wiecek)
I appreciate the comment! And please give your dad a high five for using Feal Suspension. 👋🍻
Sheesh man really gonna make us wait 41 hours that under two days. Smh 🤦🏽♂️ 🤷🏽♂️
Hey odi, I’m new to the channel. I’ve been looking for a left fender for my corvette identical to the one you took off you’re Vette in this video. Can I buy that fender off you?
I would really appreciate the help.
Ps. I loved the video
Hey, yeah for sure. odi@fealsuspension.com
A lot of people give duraflex a bad rap like there really terrible kits but I see you use them a lot . Think you have mastered fitting them. They look great on your cars. Maybe it's because the fitting of the kit is more involved then others. 🤷♂️
People tend to just jam kits and widebodys on with no alot to attention to the little details odi seems to like the little details
Just had the body panels sanded, primed, and painted. Look for episode 3 to see how they look all finished up.
Tires size on the fronts?
Wanna get on the 4-link for my nova...neeeeed to slide!!!!👍
Don’t do a four link, they’re better suited to drag racing. A proper 3 link is better for grip/handling/drifting
Matt L how so?
Mike Brown I don’t feel like getting into the major specifics of it, but I’d advise you to research 3 vs 4 links and handling vs drag. There’s a ton of information available from people well more knowledgeable than myself
I have school today but I'm going to miss this video :(
Can you make a live stream or a video asking you questions?
Hey, that is a good idea. I will work on a live stream video for the future.
Frenemies :)
Man I wish you guys offered coilovers for F-bodies... hell I wish anyone other than Viking/qa1 made coilovers for them😂 I’m still rocking shocks/lowering springs on my firebird drift car and it’s definitely not ideal
Coilovers are over rated IMO. Especially on a car where the shock mounting points aren't designed to support the full weight of that corner.
Nicholas Rodrigues not really... a coilover is 10x more adjustable than the factory stuff, and damn near anyone who heavily tracks their camaro/firebird switches to coilovers....
@@zerohourdrift or adjustable shocks and weight jacks which give you the same adjustements and put the forces where they're intended to go
Nicholas Rodrigues 4th gens are a factory coil over strut....
@@zerohourdriftthey're the only F body that does and only on the front. The rear suspension is identicle to my 3rd gen, still springs and shocks in seperate locations. I wouldn't put coilovers back there.
What is the front tire size ? the Wheel is 18*9.5 +12 with 20 mm Spacer
Rear 18*10.5 +12 / 295/40*18
Front is actually 18x9, +12, with 20mm spacer, 245-40-18 tires
and people say duraflex suck lol its a drift car.
Hey Odi! Without the S15, would the Corvette be the new car chosen for Formula Drift?
Gotta try it at the track first!
@@Frenemiesdrift 👌🔥
Those are 5x120 pattern wheels? Will that be a problem with the corvette being 5x120.65?
I'd like to know this too.
So a lot of Vette owners over the years have realized that 5x120 wheels actually fit and center up fine.
WHEELS*
36h?!😐
