  • Is the hype real? Is the C5 and C6 Vette the best bang for the buck drift car? Odi Bakchis is building this C6 into a street able drift car to find out.

    Odi can't wait to see your spin on this car. I love that it's being setup for multiuse. Street track and drift . Full interior plus AC !!! THANK you for not roaching it out. I have a e46 330i manual sedan I wanted to drift but tbh this is probably a better route to go. Lil higher buy in price but hopefully more cost effective in the long run on top of a lil extra power.

    is deleting the ABS necessary to run the hydro? or is there a way to retain it but deactivate it when using the hydro?

    It's all hype, IMO C5/C6 is the worst drift platform ever. The perfect 50/50 weight and short rear makes it unpredictable. BMW E34 Wagon is slides more ease with 170hp than C5 with 400hp
    PS. 7:37 It would be a crime not to get same leather cover for hydraulic brake what you have on shifter. Then it would look 5/5 OEM.

      @@lb9gta307 Are the really, I happen to own a bone stock C5. It's horrible to drift, sure with coils, hydraulic E-brake and other suspension goodies it would be. But from factory it's literally designed NOT to drift.

    • @lb9gta307
      @lb9gta307 Před 4 lety +5

      @@DuBstep115 you can do well with just an angle kit and a hydro and then dial it in with coilovers. Taylor Ray, Aaron Losy (Lone Star Drift), and Cleetus McFarland all have or had drift C5/6 Corvettes with just that. Taylor's even had a completely stock power and he mostly drifted it without a hand brake. Matt Field has now replaced his S chassis drift cars with 2 C6s and a C5 because he likes drifting them so much.
