    Tata Nexon EV Top Model Summary
    Tata Nexon EV Empowered Plus LR is the mid electric(battery) variant in the Nexon EV lineup and is priced at Rs. 19.94 Lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). This Empowered Plus LR variant comes with an engine putting out and of max power and max torque respectively. Tata Nexon EV Empowered Plus LR is available in transmission and offered in 7 colours : Fearless Purple, Creative Ocean, Daytona Grey, Flame Red, Pristine White, Intensi Teal and Empowered Oxide.
    Tata Nexon EV Car Latest Updates
    Tata has launched the facelifted Nexon EV after the launch of the ICE-powered 2023 Nexon facelift. It gets a similar treatment as its ICE counterpart, but features additional creature comforts and technology. It also gets a new gen motor which offers an improved claimed range for both the medium and long range versions. Tata has managed to undercut the starting price in respect to the previous base variant prices, but the top-spec variant is now more expensive by Rs 40,000.
    Features of Tata Nexon EV
    New features on the 2023 Tata Nexon EV include a larger 12.3-inch touchscreen, a fully digital 10.25-inch driver's display, and a 360-degree camera system. Features like a sunroof, wireless Android Auto/Apple CarPlay connectivity, ventilated front seats, a wireless phone charger, cruise control, keyless entry, and push-button start have been retained. It also features vehicle-to-load (V2L) and vehicle-to-vehicle (V2V) charging technology where you can power an appliance or top up another EV using the battery in the Nexon. On the safety front, it includes six airbags as standard, ABS with EBD, electronic stability control, and a tyre pressure monitoring system.
    Tata Nexon EV Engine
    The 2023 Nexon EV offers two powertrain options - Long range (40.5kWh battery) and medium range (30kWh battery). The latter is coupled to an e-motor that puts out 129PS/215Nm and offers an ARAI-claimed range of 325km. The bigger battery pack is paired with a more powerful electric motor, producing 143PS/215Nm. The long range setup offers an ARAI-claimed range of 465km. Charging the 2023 Nexon EV with a 7.2kW AC charger takes approximately 4.3 hours for the medium range variant, while the long range variant requires around 6 hours. Using a regular charger, the corresponding charging times extend to 10.5 hours and 15 hours, respectively. A DC fast charger would take 56 minutes to recharge the Nexon EV’s battery, regardless of the chosen variant. The 2023 Tata Nexon EV measures 3994mm in length, 1811mm in width and 1616mm in height. Ground clearance of the SUV is 205mm (medium range) /190mm (long range) and wheelbase is 2498mm.

    The 2023 Tata Nexon EV takes on the Mahindra XUV400 EV, and can also be regarded as accessible choices against the MG ZS EV and Hyundai Kona Electric in the electric SUV category.

    The Tata Nexon EV can go upto 465 Km after a full charge.
    Tata Nexon EV Charging Time
    The Tata Nexon EV long range battery takes 15 hours to get charged via a regular charger. A DC fast charger can replenish its battery from 10-80% in 56 minutes.
    Tata Nexon EV Variants
    Tata offers 2023 Nexon EV in three broad variants: Empowered, Creative and Fearless.
    Standard colour options include : Flame Red, Daytona Grey, Pristine White, while Creative Ocean, Fearless Purple, Intensi Teal and Empowered Oxide are exclusive to chosen trim option.

    EV आये 3 साल हो गये। यार अब तो पूछना छोड़ दो आपने EV ही क्यों खरीदी। सुन सुन के ऊब गया हूँ। बस गाड़ी की positive और negative बताओ। We all know limitations of highway travel of EV. जो बंदा EV लेता है वो सब research कर के ही EV लेता है। Stop asking silly questions please. Let's not waste time discussing an issue which is beaten to death a million times. सुन सुन के कान पक गये। just tell us how this car drives, what the features are. How's performance. I have friends whose monthly running is only 300 kms. Even they bought EVs. Not because of economy. Not because of environment. Just because of awesome pickup, gearless drive and silence. Try beating that with any petrol diesel car. I dare you.

    I think tata should change the on board charger of the old nexon prime so that it can support 7kw charge

    I have 4 other vehicles including one nano. being proud Indian and fan of Tata I bought Nexon Ev . But greatly disappointed and frustrated with the car. even wiper blade provided is defective.

    The only issue is the prohibitive initial premium cost. One has to drive lakhs of kilometres to recover the cost as compared with that of the ice cars . Tata could have provided at least ADAS level 1 for this car.

      Sir if you drive more than 50ish kms a day, you can easily recover the cost every month from your EMI.
      If you drive less, itll take you longer.
      My average is about 150 kms a day. I purchased the car in june, and i have over 28,000 kms on the ODO. I save over 50k a month on fuel compared to my previous car. I can easily pay for the EMI, charging cost, driver salary, and still save money compared to just the fuel cost of my previous car (innova 2014 diesel)

      तू calculator पे हिसाब करता ही रह जिन्दगी भर और 100 रुपये के petrol पे 8-9 km city में mileage का लुत्फ उठाता रह। 2024 चुनाव के बाद 150 पार होगा petrol. Enjoy it. एक बार showroom जाकर चला कर देख। बाकी सब गाडियाँ भूल जाओगे।

    Worst vehicle. I have bought brand new nexon ev empowerd plus lr. Right from the beginning so hatless and issues. It seems Defective vehicle was delivered to me. Charger was also defective. Battery overheating while fast charging at the dealers fast charger. Glitches in software. Many times infotainment display going off. Now the vehicle is not getting unlocked either with remote or physical key. Hopeless vehicle. 😢

    They are spoiling the Tatas brand name. I would never dream of buying any ‘Tata vehicle. If ride in normal mode you wont get range of more than 200 to 250

      Mere vilage side me maine ab tak 15 gadiya dekhi h maximum nexon h kuch tiago aur xuv 400 i think you can purchase it for vilage area as well but it depend ki apke waha electricity kaisi h kitne hours rhti h and if you are able to afford solar pannel or not
