Iâve been one of Sethâs subs for a looong time and I can honestly tell you that he is one of the few CZcamsrs that I genuinely enjoy and learn a lot from
my top tip for removing tires: before hooking in the tyre lever, push the tyre on both sides to the inside of the rim.. the middle section of the rim is deeper thus giving the tyres more space to hop over the rim. if needed you can change a MTB tyre without the aid of any levers (being stubborn). Also, I have succesfully used old jeans as a DIY chainwhip. Enjoy!
"what happened to your trailer Drama" Best quote I have ever heard
Mustache Man 21 have you considered carbon rims?
Does this mean he's getting carbon rims for drama's trailer?
"Drama the way you have been riding this I reccomend going tubeless" đ
"the way you've been riding this thing im going to be reccomending you go tubeless" he rides this on the trail?!

XD, I'd Prefer The $100 Ones If That's True Lol
Love the retractable badge holder idea, doing that one PRONTO!! As far as washing your helmet pads. Next time you buy armor, or something that comes in a mesh bag, use the mesh bag. The mesh bag allows better cleaning of the pads.
The camelbak one is genius
What do you do with the things that fall out of the bonus taco?? Double bonus taco?
put shredded lettuce under the tortilla and finish it off with a taco salad
Anybody want to do the math on how many tacos you need to eat to get 1 bonus taco?
the loop is infinite
I start eating tacos over the other tacos I've already made/ordered. By the time I get to the extra tortilla I've been cleaning up other bits that have fallen out already.
Alex Evans And what do you do with the stuff that falls out of you double bonus taco? Youâve discovered the perpetual taco!!!
The flexible cutting boards work great for the fender hack. They also come in a wide range of colors and can still be cut with scissors easily. Love your hack videos Seth keep them up.
Hey Seth, I just love your hacks. Keep doing what your doing and my favourite hack was the extra taco one and the mud guard
Cheers Bailey
I made my own mudguard...and it's gotten like 3 compliments, so I will chalk that up as a win!
Cobra Kyle where do I find the template
Your vids are great, you donât always include,as a example where is the template for the made guard.
Itâs in the description
I absolutely LOVE the "chores to pay for your services" idea!!
Just autoplayed at least 6 of your videos. Definitely one of the best channels Iâve seen- you absolutely kill it! From content, to camera angles, youâre videos are top shelf quality all the way around
The badge holder is Most EXCELLENT! Simple and practical, thanks for the tips and all your videos.
I took your advice and told my wife she owes me a future lawn mowing for tuning up her bike. She said that bill will can go straight to the collections Dept. and stay there.
lol
Ha ha
Lol.
Walt Robinson best to repo the bike then
For removing valve cores my chain tool from the multitool fits perfectly. It's the part where the chain pin gets pushed out in. Should be standard on all chain tools and it's a perfect fit on the valve core.
Writing invoices on work orders is brilliant and I absolutely love the way to bill out family members with Chores around the houseI'm not sure that would always work but it would remind them that sometimes we're not just Screwing Off in the garage And maybe we deserve a little help around the house. And since I am now retired with a crab load of invoices unused this works great for me.
All great hacks.Thankyou. THe bonus taco was the funniest. I am definitely going to try a few of these, especially the retractable for the hydration pack.
10/10 taco hack I approve
NO WAY SETH! you even got bob taco's approval lol
best hack yet, but you really should learn to wrap a burrito
Use a noodle is shape to protect your chainstay
I've always called it the drop taco.

Osprey makes what is IMO the best hydration pack for mountain biking, it comes with a magnet on the mouth piece which snaps onto the shoulder strap without any effort. Good tip on the squared off socket for the top cap!
Hi, I used to wear safety glasses while cycling too for the reasons you said, then I did research. Long story short, safety glasses aren't manufactured for sports. Many brands specifically say on the packaging "Not for use in sports". Depending on the manufacturer, the lenses in safety glasses may not be shatterproof (I know, right?), designed to stay on after impact nor offer UV protection. the bows aren't designed for a sport style impact, and aren't made for active style wear. So what this means is that if you're wearing them on the trail, and you get an eye injury due to the glasses cracking or coming apart on impact, you have no recourse because they specifically say "Don't do this." And this isn't going into optical clarity, that some safety glasses are meant only for indoor use, and the mass-manufactured "polarization" techniques...
And people will argue that I'm wrong or a shill or whatever, hey you do you. "Any port in a storm" is fine in a pinch, but why compromise when you have access to the RIGHT tools? I'm reminded of the people who wore ski goggles to play paintball. If you don't know better, it sounds perfectly fine, until the lenses blow out on impact and you lose an eye. And that's happened far too often. I'm just sayin'.
Thank you! I'll reconsider if I should actually buy some.
There are literally hundreds of different types of safety glasses available. Some offer UV protection, some don't. Some are shatterproof, some aren't. Best advice is do your research on them, because there will be types suitable for biking. And cheap
Yeazz...
Agree with this statement. I tend to look for that Z87 rating.
When tuning derailer, or lubing chain etc. I don't turn my bike over or use a bike stand. Instead I put the bike's bottom bracket on a jack stand and lean it against the wall, shelf etc. for balance. It works good for me. To prevent scratches to the bottom of your frame, put a small rag. I have a piece of 3m film.
Thank you much for the glove idea because i have been needing cheap but good gloves for winter riding
Good hack: some of my spot lights I use for night riding slip on my metal handle bars so I cut inter tube and rap around the area on the bar where you want the light than just tape the inter tube on with electrical tape and BAM đ„ no more slipping lights
I love this video Seth, the zoom ins were hilarious and the tips were great. Keep up the great work
Pool noodle hack is something we'll definitely be using for our biking adventures this year. Thanks for that (and all the rest too!).
pipe insulation is cheaper, but not available in so many snazzy colours
Oooh. Good shout. Colour doesn't matter to me!
I just got some new lock on grips, the lock on grip valve core hack is gonna be really helpful for me
For evening and night rides I wear a pair of clear safety glasses. They have a removable padded insert that gives them a goggle feel and that blocks all crosswinds. No teary eyes!
Hey Seth!, here is my story! I was about 17 miles away from my house and my tube went flat. Fortunately, I was able to find a pump to air up and see how far I could get before she went flat again. (The flat was very small, so i had about 30 minutes of ride time) Anyways the problem with the pump was, it was Schrader and I have Presta valves. So in a pinch, I found a cool hack!
If you take the protection cap off of your valve and cut the top off with your knife, you can screw the cap back on and it creates a bigger seal so you can adapt a Schrader to a presta! it was very useful and got me more than halfway back to my house before i had to call for some backup! I hope you can show this in one of your hack videos! BTW my name is Seth too!!
Using a retractable badge holder for the hydration tube is genius. I have magnets on mine and it's only slightly less faff than nothing.
Magnets are a good idea too
Thanks Seth. Iâve been waiting for this video for about 2 weeks. I understand that your injury may have affected this, but I feel all feedback can be seen as useful. By the way I would like you to know that you are my go to biking channel.
Like the foam noodle tricks. That's a riot because I STILL keep a piece of black soft foam pipe insulation over part of my top tube lol.

What about a hack for stopping the bloody freeze/thaw and rain that's kept me off the bike for a month and a half now?

Looove your vids man! I just built a $10+k stump jumper. Always love to see good hacks and mods to make it even better. My trouble is I gained 25lbs but only managed to save 5.25lbs on the bike. Talk about and expensive weight upgrade.
Great video as always. Would be interested in seeing a video about the 10 best hacks to improve your riding
I DARE you to use the swing bike on the trails
Raihan Islam Bro he already has one broken arm wanna break another? JK lmao that'd be interesting but yeah sounds like he'll die. Then again it's Seth

do you have any hacks for those of us that don't have a garage for storage? My bikes are currently in my living room taking up much needed floor space. Ohh and i am renting.
burmesebeef if my bike was in my living room I wouldnât need a tv!
I did the mud guard a couple of weeks ago and itâs great
you can take 2 or 3 tire levers, depending on your seat post size, rubber band them together, and stuff them in your seat post. Also, I zipped a compass pouch to my handlebar stem, and I can keep a multitool, patches, and extra chainlinks in there.

@Berm Peak, thank you so much your videos are so useful!
Poor drama. How much did u charged for the flat tire..
Not eating grass for the five minutes it took Seth to change it...
If you have dirt in your handle bars blow into side of your handle bars and the dirt will fly out
I found them all really useful! I'm a runner also the camelback hack was really cool!
Saved me $10 with the retractable badge holder hack... thanks!
Hi Seth

Love the take hack....why I never thought of it..
Thanks for the mud guard hack!
I wasn't listening for a second and then I heard "you need to put your noodle in your travel bag for extra protection"
Listen again bro
Unfortunately, Nowhere near enough Taco innards Escape me over the course of a few tacos to adequately stuff another.
That badge holder is an awesome hack idea. Freaking brilliant
That bike shop bit was hilarious! Great job there!
When he put the glasses on I thought he was having a stroke đđ
Im dying lmaođđđđđđ
Riding season never ended in the Netherlands
The gopro hack is plain useful.
The trail mix hack is clever.
But man, the taco hack is the best
That taco hack is the smartest thing I've seen on the internet in years.
I keep my spare and tools in a drink bottle. Just had to get a good sized mouth so that the tube comes out painlessly.
Eye Heisenberg that's actually genius
Thanks Bret.
Been using that for a few months now. Only concern is the heat in this Australian summer. I hope the tube doesn't degrade in the heat. Otherwise works great.
One other bike hack I use is to have a rubber stopper in the base of the seat post. That lets me use the hollow seat post to store things I otherwise don't want found. Be it money or something to smoke after a ride. Works great.
Bonus taco? Bonus meme!
lol
Boneless Taco đź????
Holy crap! Late to the party, and VERY new MTBer here.. Thanks for the fender template! That's awesome!
That taco hack is brilliant!! I am sooo using that with my kids! That will even make the dishes easier!

Be sure to add the mini tortilla below the normal sized tortilla for the leftover leftovers. Oh, and while you're at it, add a mini mini tortilla, for all those leftover, lefto..
The camel back trick is amazing. I did this for my mountain bike pack and my atv pack.
