- Some time ago I bought this Rosa Gallery professional watercolor set, and only yesterday it came to my mind that it is made in Ukraine.
Today I'm swatching and reviewing this amazing set as a way to show respect and support to Ukrainian people, that are going through so much suffering in these days.
It's a very different, surprising, wonderful watercolor set!

Here is a tip. In a real war the victims do not announce where the citizens are hiding. In a real war the supposed victim doesn't say video game characters are real people.

Thanks for making me aware of these colors from Ukraine. They look really interesting, and I love that the set has full pans. I also appreciate that they come in a standard tin, so you can exchange some of the pans, if you want to, and add colors of your own choice.

I love this brand! I have been using them for almost 2 years and now I have almost all their watercolurs in tubes. I must say that they are better than the white nights ones, not because the war situation, but because it's a fact: they are more transparent, very pigmented and they flow like heaven ;) I recommend them very much. Getting this brand also will support the Ukrainian economy, so devastated right now. #standwithukraine #slavaukrainia

I got them for blackfriday, it was the cheapest way to add cadmium paints to my collection I'm so glad I tried these they are almost like Qor in my opinion, not white nights, qor watercolor is my favorite but very pricey, I would definitely put this with the same value as qor, daniel smith, and Windsor and Newton, Paul Reubens, but it is at a price point that I feel is so much better, it worked well on my 100%cotton Arches and Bee Paper Co.. I got 24 full pans for $22.00 usd.

I am a huge fan of Rosa Gallery, and I also compare them to QOR for their incredible flow on paper…except that I like even more because I want to support Ukraine! I also find quite a few similarities with White Nights but the performance is superior…I thank you so much for sharing this!

I have all of these white knight watercolours that I won’t be using anytime soon because of the war. I feel like investing in a set of 24 to test out. I like that Rosa gallery watercolours come with a metal pallet. They’re also reasonably price that’s why I am going to them.

🇺🇦 Ilove both my Rosa Gallery sets! Three colors I did add: a quin rose, quin purple blue, and ultramarine violet (PV19, PV55, and PV16 respectively.) Excited for their 10 new granulating colors to hit Amazon!

@WatercolorElisabetta I am pretty sure those three are not in RosaGallery's range yet. I used my tubes of Mission Gold and Van Gogh. I do recommend both of those brands, especially the PV55 from VG!

Hiya Elisabetta, thanks very much for a great video, really interesting and very timely indeed. These paints are available in Great Britain, in Ken Bromley's Art Supplies, and Jackson's Art Supplies.
I can't see any single pan's to top up used one's as you mentioned. I was a little bit puzzled about the unusual amount of colours in the tins, like 28 instead of 24, but they are great value. Jenna Rainey on her channel is mentioning smaller watercolour channels to her subscriber's so that they can visit and hopefully if they like what they see, the artist may get some new subscriber's so I've put your channel on her comments section so that others will know where you are on CZcams. I hope that you get more subs because you are great and I love your videos which are so very interesting. Take care, David.x

I've heard about Rose watercolor paints and I'm curious to try it. I've being ordering items from Ukraine and I'm pleased with them. I would order my Rose watercolor.

Before buying these paints (which are lovely and very affordable if you don’t live in the US where American paints are cheap), do check Kim Cricks lightfast tests - in particular, PR177 fades fast.
(Elizabetta, since you’ve suggested this as an Alizarin Crimson replacement, could you please add an on-screen note?)

Good video liked your honest report. I use to use some yarka paint from Russia very nice it was. I like the paint but would have to have my number like you said. But that's not hard to add.

The paint might seem that it is like White Nights, but i find it to be more clean, better flowing, and more transparent. the transparency might be the downside for some, since it best shows itself in layering.

Try Ken Bromley Art Supplies. I bought an empty Rosa tin from there and filled it with Rosa watercolours bought in a shop in Alicante.
