I take ozempic because I have diabetes and tbh it feels like medically induces ED which is difficult at times because I already have an ED. Thankfully I have a good support system. I've lost a little over 50 lbs currently and have been able to take less insulin which is good but not going to lie the ppl in my life are worried about how little I eat. Somedays I eat less than 800 calories. I also pay nothing for it because the insurance I have pays for everything related to my diabetes so that's cool

I’m taking ozempic because I’m on the verge of becoming diabetic and honestly it’s changed my life. I no longer gets these massive spikes in my blood sugar that makes me feel like shit. I haven’t noticed weight loss, but I’m on a very small dose right now.
Ozempic is for Obese Diabetics. If you are not (1) obese and (2) diabetic, you shouldn't be taking it. You are taking medication out of the hands out of people who need it to live.

Salt Lake City is so pretty to walk around, the hikes are great with views on the mountain that's located near the children's hospital. The people may not be so great to converse with but the outsiders are def bringing the welcoming feeling around, ironically lol matcha lattes have my heart there ❤

used to work in a pharmacy and the patients calling in for their ozemp refills would go crazy when it was on backorder which happens ALOT, I feel like its good if you're going to change your lifestyle in addition to taking it like adding going to the gym , eating clean and all that but most people just use it because they can eat everything they want and not gain anything -the ultimate shortcut. Our bodies are amazing especially when you condition it with the right exercises and nutrition so do not try it thinking you're always going to have this injection for the rest of your life. Also exercise and nutrition promote good mentality, strength and the physical appeal of course. 🌟🌟🌟

Im a nurse and work at an IV clinic. If you take ozempic/semaglutide for weight loss you have to take oral maintenance Pills and/or take a monthly maintenance subQ injection bc you will gain all the weight back. You can eventually taper off maintenance IF you are extremely strict with your lifestyle habits.
My grandpa had to take ozempic for diabetes, but he lost so much weight and felt so nauseous his doctor had to change drugs. He put on weight immediately and was SO hungry we were afraid it’s gonna effect his sugar levels permanently

I'm so over the negativity around Ozempic (semaglutide). It's not a new drug, and most of us take it to lose our insulin-resistant weight - so we can lower our blood sugar (a1C) and get healthier by reducing the risk of major cardiovascular events such as stroke, heart attack, or death. Also it's actually being used to treat some EDs, such a binging. :)

My problem with people taking Ozempic to get skinny is they are taking it away from people who need it to control their diabetes. People with diabetes who need it are having trouble finding it. If you want to get skinny, then great. Just find other ways to get skinny that don't fuck over people who actually need that medicine to stay alive.
I've tried ozempic, it's around $300/month in Canada. You do lose weight fast but you gain some back after. You can also gain weight on it if you ignore your hunger cues. It takes away the feeling of hunger but doesn't help with emotional eating
I have hypothyroidism and I also have PCOS... ozempic is unfortunately the only thing that can treat my PCOS symptoms :( it scares me because I hate being overweight and sick but I also don't want to potentially be more sick. Doesn't help that the people who aren't sick are taking it and making the media blow it out of proportion too.
I lost a lot of weight due to my gout / wuthout even trying, but what I was doing, was no fast food, and just vegan / vegetarian meals + whenever my family orders fast food I order the healthiest option, and I avoid sugar / high corn fructose syrup, which makes you gain, and isn’t even good for you so don’t be eating that. Reason I’m commenting, is because the fads like medications aren’t whats going to make anyone lose weight healthily; like ozempic that doesn’t sound so healthy if your trying to lose weight due to local studies and what was said in this. I've been on ozempic for 1.5 years. Have zero side effects whatsoever other than feeling full most of the time. I've lost 65 pounds. It can truly be an amazing medication. It only makes you nauseous if you're eating incorrectly while taking it. Like too many carbs, or too large of portions. My nutritionist has me on a high protein diet but I still can have little snacks or have cheat meals without any issues.

It only makes you nauseous if you're eating incorrectly while taking it. Like too many carbs, or too large of portions. My nutritionist has me on a high protein diet but I still can have little snacks or have cheat meals without any issues.
