this rework looks really really scary for competitive scenes.... i also can see alot of glitches coming through with that lifeline ult.. imagine going in building to be no clipped into a wall by a D.O.C putting up its barrier

I don’t think it would no clip you. It’d be more likely to shove you in a corner. It doesn’t look like a solid wall its more like an outward pushing force. like a reverse horizon black hole.

it might just be me, but its felt like lifeline's been in a good state this season bcos of the care package changes.

id agree but ults are supposed to be a trumpcard and she has the worst ultimate in the game by far
@@lc1429 insane. she has a solid ult. lifeline has a pretty cool kit, and is one of the most balanced legends, yet theyre reworking her. she doesnt need to be reworked for 4th time
@@hidden3235 solid ult? you cant get evo shields from it anymore so thats a nerf, and to use her ult you have to be in open space, dont need bats from her ult either cos you dont have to carry normal heals so theres more space, she also has a passive that relies on having both your team mates being downed? Shes the only medic but she isnt even the best reviver in the game, gibby and newcastle all do what lifeline does but better....
I think the push back would be insane if you could also use Gibraltar sheild and watson ult

Ok three things;
1: if she has fresh tac & revives 2 teammates then drops drone 3 drones have been deployed. Thought: should a revive cost a tactical use until 1st revive is successful & unable to auto-revive second downed mate implying a normal revive animation would have to be used simultaneously or wait for tactical.
2: should the drones be destructible again during revive or deployment Causing the first part of this all related to her relying on her tactical to refresh for auto revives.
3: upon revival of one should the drones be deployed as normal heal available to be picked up for tactical refresh to certain number depending on time deployed? For second auto revival?
In terms of realism to battle medic is the forethought to these
1 field drone in use instead of spam reviving with gold knock down shield
gibby bubble + lifeline ult is gonna be the new algs meta in end zone
It will just make mad maggie hard counter meta

I've been a Lifeline main since I switched from Octane in season 5. I've been waiting for this since they removed her shield ❤️ I have heirloom shards I'm saving for the prestige skin too!!
She is a combat medic. It does make since that she would have multiple drones. Nice idea to have the drone heal her while fighting.
Lifeline and gibby is gonna be wild
It’ll be cool if it pushes enemies back but also sends out pulses of heals / instant revives teammates , but once teammastes are rev, the whole shield disperses. It’ll be cool.
i was hoping the doc drone would be able to move around like newcastle's tactical, and you would be able to lock on to teammates to send your drone to them like his ultimate

@@heregoesfranklin5962 yeah plus she got her self res back with her perks so she could sneakily just res and ult at end game if people aren't careful. It could be fun but none of this is final yet so we just got to wait and see
@@SUPADAV1212 it has to be super hairy to pull off a self revive and ult. People tend to make sure Lifeline is out of commission when she’s downed lol.
It’s actually kinda cool because it prevents opponents from immediately going to wipe the squad. Gives the squad a moment to possibly catch the opps slipping lol
@@heregoesfranklin5962 yeah I know i was referring to the pros and high rank players when I typed that because I watch alot of pros and preds miss stuff they normally wouldn't when it come to really hectic endgame fights especially when there are alot of teams still alive in a very small circle. But yes I agree with you on that

- Revenant Old Ultimate → Alter Ultimate

- Lifeline "Old" Ultimate → Survival Item
Reason - She uses the device that is used for calling in a Mobile Respawn Beacon and Evac Tower
Dude I think that would be a better fit for lifeline don’t get me wrong her ult now is good especially when you need cover in the open but the shield is definitely better

wouldn't the rework ultimate work better for gibby as a new tactical, cause now it would push people out while his ultimate destroy a person. making everyone think twice on a gibby push, i know it would be broken for end game but just food for thought

I’ve been a lifeline main since starting the game. Watching my girl Ajay get nerf after nerf has been so disheartening. Seeing this video and the potential of mad improvements is a huge W.

LifeLine needs her revive shield back. They see how it works with new castle. Just give it back to her. And her ult sounds op she needs an escape with an ult or something.
I'm going to say it now, that Ult with be nerfed. It seems excessively OP.
6 heatshields + drone = zone becomes a joke xD
Maybe for the first two closings. After that the Heat shields won’t have much of any lifespan, the ring will destroy the drone once the Heat shields break, and the drone tactical won’t replenish all that quickly.
However, it’s still pretty nice

Her new Tactical is definitely incredible! Being healed while on the go is actually far more in balance with a lot of other new champs like Conduit who can charge shields while on the go.
As for her ultimate... It really does just seem like a different version of Gibraltar's tactical that has too easy of a counter. I suppose it will depend on how easy it will be to take out the drone itself, but this ability will definitely be much better in enclosed spaces where you can put the dome in an area opponents can't shoot at easily while the dome is up.

I think we should be careful what we wish for. Current Lifeline supports the team with a bunch of quality of life. Many times the EVO Cache got the last teammate who needed it purple shields and therefore their second upgrade. I‘d prefer if Lifeline keeps her care package.
So her ult is Gibs Tactical dome.

50 k lifeline these reworks sound pretty solid but not having gold knock and red shield in early game is a big trade off but I think the shield would be great for fights
If these are the changes it doesn't sound bad; but i would rather have the care package. Unless there's a story line where she loses everything because her mom blocked her from stuff cool

The amount of times the care package has saved me by using it as fortification will be missed. I believe the ultimate is a bad move and should be a choice within the perk system. I don't care what the ultimate ends up doing. I enjoy the care package and supplying my teammates with badly needed batteries and loot and cover all with one package.
I started maining Lifeline again after the upgrades update, this rework is going to be amazing! I use to wish she had a different Ult, but I’ve learned to appreciate her Ult, especially in Ranked when needed shields, plus being able to use it as cover. But this new Ult seems very interesting, basically like a Gibby dome for Lifeline.
Lifeline main since release. Would love these changes (The new ult seems too OP though... guess it will be breakable by shooting the shield and won't have much hp if it has to be balanced). when the care package is fun and all and can be use as cover in a pinch, it just is not that good as it reveals your position like a revive beacon.
I really would love to see it
