I soooo wish I could participate...but, with triple-digit temps (yesterday was 112), running an RC outside is about the last thing anyone is doing. Heck, about the longest amount of time I'll be spending outside is either standing next to my bus while passengers are boarding, or walking to/from the mailbox.

@@Rcprescription Yeah, Barstow can get hot (guessing, you were stationed there?)...but, even worse is 247 & 18 between Barstow & Big Bear Lake. I was driving summer camp kids through there 2 weeks ago - in Vegas, those days were 113 & 115...and, along 247 & 18, it was 117 & 118. Thankfully, I was driving a bus with extremely good A/C. 😀
On the RC side of things, not sure when I'll be able to get anything out. The ground is hot enough to melt RC tires, the lake where we run boats is warmer than a heated swimming pool, and a person would have to be totally insane to run anything out in the open desert. There is a new indoor track that recently opened, but I haven't yet had the opportunity/time to check it out (besides, the shop that owns it is more about 'bashing' than actual racing, so I'm not expecting much).

@@Rcprescription Im in PR until mid August, then i fly back to NY again. I wanna see if i can make a run this afternoon. On 3s already ran 93mph on stock electronics, 120a esc, stock 3900kv (orange one) with a old 3s. Got some new lipos and gonna be testing on single and parallel setup. Having fun as always my friend. Pretty cool and tempting. Best of luck to ya, and I know that 787 drives better than the 917 from what I've seen on other videos. So, you have an advantage there. I think they want pictures to make sure it's a stock chassis and stock body..🤷♂ just a guess.
