Hi Chris, this is such a great video, I love all these tips as I'm a brand new newbie to fuji and modern photography in general! Nice tip on the clear display Bk button I did have the setting on large lcd display so I was stoked to find out my camera was not faulty (well I guess it is but it's not just mine! LOL) and then the tip of the higher contrast on display is super! Thanks for all this great info I really really appreciate it! :)
Chris, I managed to figure it out. All I needed to do was turn off the Large Indicators Mode for the EVF and the LCD. Something told me I needed to see if turning OFF those large indicators would affect what is displayed on the screens, and it sure does.
Two years later and that bug is still there! I was trying to figure out why I wasn't getting a cleared screen, and searching for answers online and came across your video. 😁

Thanks for highlighting the bug, I thought I was the only one with that issue and it was driving me crazy. My eyesight only allows me to use large indicators, but I like to use the full screen view mode sometimes. Please Fujifilm, fix the bug through a firmware update...
It was working perfectly fine on my X-T200 for both EVF adn LCD, so please do it for the XT3!

Super tips, especially manual focus dual display - I do quite a bit of macro and was just using the auto af assist and command dial press to zoom in features. Thanks. BTW, what do you feed gear iguana to prevent him/her from getting GAS?😁

Thank you Chris, I have spent hours trying to find out how to change the tiny screen setting on the back of my XH1, it changed from the usual full image size to a tiny image the size of a stamp and I couldn't work out what I had done. Watching your video I found out that I must have touched the disp button at the back and this had changed my setting. You know I wished Fuji would make a camera that was clear of all this junk that to be honest you just don't need. If they made an all manual camera I would buy it straight away.

Chris, on my X-T4, under Display Custom Settings under the Screen Set-Up menu, I've tried simplifying my LCD screen by unchecking certain features, including Film Simulation and Shutter Type, but they still show up on the LCD screen even though they are unchecked in the menu. Any idea why this might be or suggestions? Thanks much, sir.

Okay...so your videos are just amazing!!! I do have a question though... why is it that while I am recording, when I make even a slight adjustment of the manual focus knob on the lens, the viewfinder automatically goes to the extreme zoom so that I can get the best focus possible? Okay... that's fine and very helpful!!! BUT!!!! I cannot back track and look into my viewfinder again in normal mode as for some odd reason it stays in the super zoom-in mode. So I have to stop the video recording then resume recording. It is soooooo frustrating!!! I own the xt3. Thanks!!!!
i have a frame a white frame within the viewfinder frame when I look through the viewfinder , I swear it wasnt there a week ago, I've obviously clicked something and now I cant get rid of it and cant see anything in the screen settings that will rectify it can you help
what is your impression about this display (ergonomic side)? I have doubt between xt3 and xt4 cause to ergonomic side for the display..I think that with the display of the xt4 I have problems with my left hand when the display is completely open
Hello, two questions for the GFX50R users:
1-Why is the small icon for the STD/Provia film simulation the only one that doesn't appear on the GFX50R's screen when in use? Is it because it is the Standard (Std) mode? But it's Provia too. It should appear like all the other icons.
2-Why can´t I see the Dual Display Setting; not on the GFX50R? Thanks.

I wish Fuji would add an icon on the display that shows which preview/exposure mode you are in. Sometimes I forget to enable the preview exposure mode after I'm done using my speelight in a dark environment. The histogram also doesn't accurately show what the exposure truly is when turning the mode off.

I shoot an MF Venus macro and found that my focus peak w red KEPT switching off. I asked Fuji tech support (Dan) and he said there are NO external controls to toggle MF assist.
I use my rear command dial for shutter speed. It was me changing my shutter speed heavy handed-ly.

A video discussing how your audio metering disappears in large indicators mode when you are recording video would be helpful for people also.
Please could you tell me how to have my LCD screen lit continuously? When I'm shooting landscape on a tripod I have to keep pressing a button every 20 seconds or so, otherwise it goes dim and enters standby mode. I just want to he able to set my manual focus and exposure, then leave my camera for the right time to hit the shutter but with my LCD screen always lit for however long I want. Thanks
Hey Chris. Came here to see if I could find out why my XPro2 Exposure Indicator was not showing up on my LCD screen (even with it turned on in settings). Apparently, my Large Indicator/LCD setting was on (thank you for that tip), and guess what -- after I turned it OFF my Exposure Indicator popped right back up on the LCD. What a weird deal!

Regarding DISP/BACK button options, Fuji should have via firmware an option in the menu where you have: All the information and when HALF pressing the shutter release JUST before taking the photo ALL that information is GONE so that you can freely compose without any distraction information. Why? Because I first need to check the info data like Histogram which is super useful but then when composing I need to quickly get rid of all distraction and framing the shot. What do you think?

Is there a setting for X-T4 helping me to know that recording is on? I know that is front and back blinking light. But it sucks for me. In Sony cameras is a very good feature. It increases fps on LCD screen while recording is on. There is something like this in Fuji? Or something else?
X T30 does not have the option 4.

I have XT3. How to hold display text on LCD for longer duration? It just goes off immediately. Can’t get time to read properly. Is there any setting for that. I find it difficult as menus in Fuji cameras are not self explanatory or there is no help button just like Nikon cameras.
I am going to watch this again set my camera on the setting that makes what is in focus turn red. I think that may help me when I am taking many macro photos to focus stack later. (ex: snowflake photography)
Yep, that helps for sure. Also can change to WHITE(high) if easier to see depending on your background setup.
Event after turning on auto rotate pb in screen setup does nothing for me
I don't know what I did while changing the settings, Now my display is always off. I only can see using the viewfinder. First I thought it was broken but when press play to see my footage, it works so I can see my photos and videos. Does this happen to someone else? Anybody know how to fix it?
