- This is an updated video showing how to setup an Irrometer tensiometer. We go over the LT Model because we sell those 99% of the time. The Lt model is made to go in living soils indoors AKA soiless medias.
If you are in native soil, like out in front of your house, you will want an SR model.

Dude I just called and talked to yall about the irrometer and rv filter placed my order waiting for delivery soon ...thanks redbud ✌
Timing couldn’t be better I’m setting up irrometer tomorrow 😂
lmao great timing. I just went and bought distilled water and was in the process of setting mine up for the first time!
Lol I smack mine around all the time... irrometer tensiometers are a must in a bed imo... cheers fam 🙏
Great video! I used the originals to set mine up for my first grow. It was an invaluable tool, especially since I made the mistake of running 5 gallon pots, to be able to water consistently.
I've got two. Wouldn't leave home without them. Thanks for updating this guys!
Never thought to bleed the gauge. Thanks for the update
Outstanding
Thanks!
Just hit the top like a bong. Fill it and then stuck the air out. Takes 2 seconds.
Best suggestion yet 👌
So how many would you want to use in a 4x8 bed?im outdoor how often do you usually water per week? Are drippers a good ideal to for the whole bed or hand watering with a sprayer. Yo where do you get your mulch from
1 is enough. You can move it every week or so if you want. Watering schedule is based of plant size, Temps, humidity, etc., but typically after a few weeks of veg, we water everyday indoor and outdoor. I like droppers, thats a good way to automate things a bit. We sell this mulch in store and on our website.
Couldn't you just soak the tip separately then assemble everything underwater so there isn't any air to create bubbles?
You'll still get air bubbles when you fill it.
No need to fill. If all the parts are submerged under water then they would already be filled. Just tossing out a guess since I haven't tried it yet
I wouldn’t think this would work as you can create air bubbles under water. It’s worth a shot though for sure, maybe it’d speed up the setup process!
@@shawnsmith676 yeap, that was mi first thought when a saw them struggling to fill it up, I will set up mine tomorrow will just take it apart then assemble everything back under water 🤩
