Slightly disappointing on a few levels... the noise reduction (as opposed to noise cancelling) on the Air v3 was actually pretty good, so combined with the sounds quality, and fit, and the same app, the Pro is just not really a good enough reason to choose them over the v3 right now imo.
They have to release a firmware upgrade for these soon to fix the hiss, and sound tuning. Imo: They should have focused on the fit more, sound profile, and good transparency/ANC. Going bigger physically excludes so many people with smaller ears. Battery life of 5 hours on buds is just fine for most people - most earbuds start hurting way before that.
They seem to think battery life grabs the headlines though - the case is nice, but it's already huge. And the colour?!? - when everyone else is providing several colours, they choose a non-descript divisive colour?
BTW: I don't think Amazon have the Pro version yet.. the link doesn't go to the product page. Creative Labs themselves have a voucher code OUTLIERPRO (25% off) which brings them down from £89 to £64 for anyone interested.
@@Clarioner1 agreed on all those points thank you!
As for Amazon, seems to be only available in the US for the time being!
Thanks for a great and honest review!
Pleasure, glad you liked it!
Great review 👍
Thanks again buddy!
I've owned all versions. I'm pretty happy with my V3s, but I just bought the Pros because I assumed with the bigger drivers it would sound better. I wish I would have watched your video beforehand. I hope I'm not disappointed when they get here!
Let me know how you get on!
I've owned all versions too, however eventhough I own v3, still use old gold due to great battery capacity
@@DMX-du9mn thanks for sharing!
thank you for the review, i always struggle finding small enough buds for my ears. it will skip these then, even though the specs look so good and price is alright
Pleasure glad you enjoyed the review!
So... Overall better choice to buy is Outlier V3 or Pro? My previously earbuds Creative Outlier Sports just broke down, so I have to buy new earbuds, of course from Creative.
awesome! Thanks!
Pleasure!
Jabra Elite 75T reigns! 😍👍
Thanks very much for this timely review.
I am looking to purchase a set of headphones specifically for outdoor use such as walking and cycling, so require something that allows me to hear what's going on around me. Bone conduction headphones would be the likeliest answer, but I've never tried this technology before and I'm hard pressed to pay out hundreds of pounds for a device that I may not like.
I was interested in the Outlier Pro because of it's ambient mode, but it appears from your review that it's not enough of a leap up from the Outlier V3, which also has an ambient mode and is much cheaper. What to do, what to do!
Pleasure, glad it was helpful! I'd stick with the V3 :)
Hello. I bought outlier pro and I notice that sound is lower than creative outlier air v3. In the beginning the v3 had the same problem. This is solved with firmware update via creative app. Do you think the same will happen?
No idea, never had a problem with volume - shouldn't be an issue at normal and safe listening volumes
V3 just doesn’t have noise filtered mic for calls. It sucks in everything, and it does it well. Thinking about call quality, don’t go for v3. I am thinking of buying the pro for calling purposes.
i hope you would still clarify with this after 3 months but on the website it says the sxfi technology works with all types of audio? I tried it before on outlier air v1 and the technology is great for long listening periods because my ears wont hurt afterward, or was that not the technology that they mentioned?
Technically it's possible on any set of headphones, yes. It's the optimization that'll be better on ones that are officially supported, like the Pros on review.
Hi, have you heard about Aukey t10? Sorry for a bit late to ask for this old model
I haven't :)
hello, great review, would you sadgest this earbuds or huawei freebuds pro?
Thanks! Not tried the others, but can recommend these.
very detailed video
I would like to ask you for advice
I have to buy my first headphones like this, to listen to music and watch movies on my PC, and I had my eye on these
in the range between 50 and 100 euros do you think there is any other type of headphones superior to these?
thanks a lot in advance for the answer!
Glad you liked it! Indeed would still recommend these, but would suggest looking at my favourites, here: czcams.com/video/jcy_IHMbbBo/video.html
@@TotallydubbedHD thank you!!! 🧡
@@IIISOLOIII no worries!
Hello, my friend!
I watch your video, but I so kind confused...
I have the all series of Outlier. V1 (I give them a retirement), V2 Sports (used on my Windows PC), V2 (Used on work) and V3 (used on road).
You think the Pro have huge improvement over the V3 to spend a 70€, or the older V3 still have the guts to stay on, until the new creatives earbuds comes?
Thanks for advance!!!
My opinions on the matter were clearly shared in the video.
@@TotallydubbedHD Thanks, dude!!!! I get the point! Happy new year, my friend!!!!
@@antoniswolfback thanks you too!
@@TotallydubbedHD I just bought my Outlier Pro, but I haven't tested yet... but... compered to V3, this HUGE earbuds stick on my ears, secured like the old V1 & V2. Unfortunately the V3 is lack of comfort for my taste. The design of V3 won't fit on my ears perfect, like the others Versions. I'm really glad that Creative came back on their old and trusty recipe. Thanks dude!!! Take care!
@@antoniswolfback thanks for sharing.
I got both of them and people don't buy the Creative outliner Pro they're simply too big. Its like they promising all those values but the size makes them heavier, uncomfortable in ear and looking silly, seriously like big tick. Better stick to outliner v3 but they looks cheap so simply stick to better earplugs.
Lol!
I was surprised your outlier pro are hissing because mine doesn't.
I tested at night with very low volume and ANC off .... no hissing.... are you sure you're using AAC codec?
Because it sounds like you're using SBC codes.
The codec wouldn't do that, but regardless, I'm sure it was running the AAC codec. Tried with ANC on?
@@TotallydubbedHD I tried again with ANC and ANC off after the first comment I wrote .... aren't hissing.
With ANC is constant very silent noise but that's normal because my Bose qc35 headphones are doing the same .
I know what you meant about hissing because my older outlier V1 are doing that .
Also tried with SBC also not hissing.
@@mirek190 The V1 never had hissing, but the V2 did. Some odd findings here!
@@TotallydubbedHD Mine V1 are hissing on low volume ...I can clearly hear it when hissing is stopping afer few seconds of music pause.
Ive had my V2 version and I think they are really good. But I wanted an upgrade so I bought this pro version. I got them today but the sound is too low for me or maybe its too much bass. Im not a sound expert but Im not satisfied with the sound. The design and fit tho is better i think but i might get the V3 version but i dont know.
Interesting, shouldn't be the case!
adjust the equalizer until it sounds nice
V3 is slightly better than the V2 IMO. You also get the equalizer app which does work with Tidal and SoundCloud.
If you plan to buy these they're currently running an early bird discount which takes off 25% .
Happy days!
Does anyone else tap them to play/pause or change the volume and nothing happens other than pain in your ear drum? Not sure what I'm doing wrong :(
Was shown in the video; that is, if it's the Pros you're talking about.
Specs look so amazing on paper. Too bad the fit is uncomfortable for many. Your ear canals bulging out in the video looks painful even. Really itching to buy these but bought the "older" Air V3 instead on advice of many commenters.
Wasn't painful in the slightest for my ear canals!
Who have jabra active 75t ? I like RnB, someone can tell me wich is better at sound quality
?
The Jabras will be better than these
@@TotallydubbedHD thanks
@@moghysorinel9883 don't forget to drop a like and sub!
If you run with these outside you will hear every step or atlest the previous gen is like that. Other then that i find them great.
Pro mic sounds as good as Jabra listening on good wired headphones to this audio of yours.
Glad you enjoyed the review!
Any chance of a review for Creative Sensemore Air?
Unlikely, sorry!
@@TotallydubbedHDLoved all your reviews on Creative earbuds. Disappointed to hear that you will not be doing one for the new ones.
@@glayenchua thanks! Well, recently Creative's UK PR has not been responsive, and there are a few other reasons which I can't say publicly, but let's just say I'm disappointed by them.
Plsss do you want to review Final Ze3000?
Not heard a Final product in about 10 years, so highly doubt that's going to happen buddy haha!
Seems like too much work for a earbud. The price is very affordable but the trouble that comes with it isn't worth it. I'm not interested in having to tune something that I expect to come with accurate presets.
Thanks for sharing!
i bought v3. it was really good. sound is my taste. so i bought pro too.because i think pro will be better than v3. but it doesn't
What don't you like about the pro?
@@TotallydubbedHD only because of sound. sound is too much blurred, vocals are not clear. this is not problem of bass. i also have wired earbuds'Creative Aurvana Trio LS' which has extreamly heavy bass. and trio ls is sounds clear even with heavy bass. creative should fix this sound tuning by firmware patch. pro is still cheap tws earbuds with ANC. but there is V3.
only thing i like about pro is design is better. not so good(looks like 10years ago) but better than v3's looks like 5$ design.(i don't like huge LED rings).i hope they have more simple design and small batterycase like amazon echo
@@user-tq2vp3id1j guess we're in agreement then! But I do like the design of the V3.
I got both of them and people don't buy the Creative outliner Pro they're simply too big. Its like they promising all those values but the size makes them heavier, uncomfortable in ear and looking silly, seriously like big tick. Better try other brands or just stick to outliner v3.
Pain for Indian enthusiasts..
Hi sorry I'm curious, why would it be a pain for Indian enthusiasts?
@@duckhunterforex7577 Since there are no outlets for these here in India.
