Have had my 65 C1 for about 11 months now. And I swear to god, it looks better then it did when I first got it. After a bit of calibration per device and it’s HANDS DOWN the best panel I’ve ever owned. I will NEVER go back to LCD/LED panels. And will stay with LG brand, assuming they continue to put out full featured panels like this. My PS5 and accompanying 1st party studio games(TLOU, UC, HFW, and GoW) just absolutely blow me away.

just picked up the 65 inch for 1600 dollars from amazon, with 2 day delivery. Super glad I was able to jump on this before these prices end, because 2k+ for a 65 inch 2022 OLED would always remain a poor value proposition in my head with the sale prices of the C1.

In which case just buy some crappy £300 budget special.

The first tv was pretty cheap, it was a Vizio that was already used. 2nd was a Samsung UHD on Black Friday 2017, good tv but that’s all it was average. And Black Friday 2021 bought this masterpiece, and I’m thankful every time I watch it or play my ps5 on it. I upgraded to the LG C2 and while the picture quality is definitely better (especially the "inky blacks"), it isn't as revolutionary an upgrade as the hype seems to make it out to be. Bought a c1 55 in July 2021 and it was the best picture and sound I’ve ever seen and heard. Unfortunately broke the screen and bought a new one at end of 2021 and it’s not the same at all. Picture is much more blurry and sound is terrible. Pink/red tint viewing from angle also. Looks like I lost the tv lottery on this one.

I got the 55' model. I love it, but there are some downsides:
    • In the Netherlands the Google home integration doesn't work.
    • playing FIFA 22 (ps5) the auto brightness limiter (abl) kicks in terribly.
The tv must think the green pitch is one big static field. The screen goes from bright to dark and visa versa. Turning oled brightness down from 100 to 80 helps a little. Very annoying. Fifa is the only game where I encountered this.
    • I don't like the screen protective layer on lg tv's. Making some colors look off, but only from a specific angle.
    • My C1 is in a bright room. Allthough it's bright enough, I wished it would be Just a little brighter.
    • reflections
Still this is the best tv I've ever owned. Especially for the 930 euro's I paid for it. Bargain. My Friends and family are astonished when they see this beauty 👍🏻😋
