What are your thoughts on Deion Sanders' Hall of Fame comments?
Now that there are enough hall of famers it should be the hall of famers who vote. They know who should bein and who shouldn't. The media is bias against people e.g T.O.
PrimeTime knows whatsUP
I just want say, thanks guys for sharing with us your great show.
Who r the players who don't deserve it.? Is it just cause Eli retired? Name drop
Someone tell that ring chaser Deion he's in the hall and more offensive linemen in the NFL have more tackles and he does FACT
Superbowl rings shouldn't automatically get you in the HOF
geezy1776 2 seasons doesn’t mean anything. I hate how you have to win super bowls to be in the HOF. all that matters is being the best of the best consistently and not just for some years.
@@Lakingsfan140 ; You are basically talking about Namath, Kurt Warner and Terrell Davis; all of them had only a few good years
Eli is on the same tier as Jim Plunkett and Joe Thiesmann imo.
@@mneck9975 Plunkett definitely belongs in. HOF isnt about just being the best player for many years it's about having the biggest impact on the game. Winning multiple super bowls as a qb and bringing multiple championships to a city is that big time impact.
@@patmebro2429 Plunkett was never a pro bowler, he had more int. than tds, and like Eli... he's a .500 qb. He's not on the same tier as Bradshaw or Staubach.
“When you say the name there shouldn’t be a pause” good point.
Not really.
James R Rivers shouldn’t be aHOF but he will get in just like Romo will.
James R Numbers lol. I agree he shouldn’t get in I’m a Dallas fan but he’ll get in because of his numbers.
James R Analytics and Analyst will say Romo has HOF like numbers and that goes for every QB will above average numbers.
Not always true if they play in a small market
Eli Manning sitting at home like😨😨😨. Are they talking about me.

Wat? Dudes a clown
He’s smart, but biased af! I don’t find him to be very objective.

Great point!💪🏾
Delusional 🤭🤭
Dude they kept saying agreence it was so annoying
I think that's why Harrison deferred the statement in the beginning. He knows he doesn't belong with the likes of Deion and Woodson, but in todays standard plus a few more years, he may just get in.
Marcellus is a real stand up gentleman. I appreciate his candor! 🙏🏾
I just want prime to name names on who shouldn't be in the HOF. That's all
Eli Manning (who will get in due to Manning family), Kurt Warner, Terrell Davis, and Tony Dungy for starters.

Harrison had one of the most clutch defensive plays in Super Bowl history and is the single season sack leader for a storied franchise known for their ferocious defense. He's being pretty humble here.
The hall is bs theres a lot guys that should be it took 20 years to get in and its harder for a guy to get in because nobody has seen them

The best description Ive heard on how to determine if a Player is a HOF'r.
"Did the player dominate the game at his position during the era in which he played?"
This doesn't mean he had a couple of Pro-bowls and maybe was on a SB winning team.
Prime, Woodson, Reggie White, Rice, Emmitt Smith, Moss, TO, Montana, Favre. These guys DOMINATED for a decade or more.
Era - a long and distinct period of history.
Perfect example who took 38 years. Charlie Sanders all decade team in the 1970's TE.
When T.O didn't go first ballet I knew the HOF was bull$hit!
Yep.
Enough Said!! I have literally given up on football for that reason. Its a joke!!
As far as I am concerned they need to close the record books and start over. It’s not the same game. Funny how Jerry made his mark with the rules back then. These cats literally can’t be touch before they run their routes and none of them will come close to him.

The fact that Marcellus called JAMES HARRISON a future Hall of famer shows that there is a problem.
But even Harrison said "I don't know about that..."

Red HawK15 certainly an argument can be made and I wouldn't bat an eye. There are worse guys in.
Don Coryell deserves to be in. The inventer of the I formation and the route tree. Basically the modern offense
Walsh brought the concepts to Cincinnati Bengals in early 70's when he was an assistant to Brown. I've never read anything on it being used by Brown in Cleveland.
@Damien Jones Yeah, but Don Coryell modernized it for that time and made it into what is the modern passing offense, which was even modernized more by Bill Walsh, and followed by Mike Shannahan, Sam Wyche, Dennis Green, Mike Holmgren, Andy Reid, and so on
@Damien Jones : Yeah, You can improve on a formula that was laid out 50 plus years ago like the WC offense, because the NFL is a copy cat league, so other great coaches took it and changed it many times, it became the premier offense, especially in 1990's. The spread offense that was started in the 70's by the Cowboys with the shotgun formation has been improved on by Marino's Dolphins in the 80's, Kelly's Bill's of the early 90's and Mahomes Cheifs of this decade.
Sterling Sharpe not being in the hall of fame has bothered me for years
does anyone remember the In Living Color episodes when Jim Carrey was in the background? watching these shows this week reminds me of that lol

Felt like Woodson was referring to Eli in all of his comments
Yep. Eli manning, Zero league MVP votes 0/800 and zero second team or first team all pros. Just 4 probowls in 16 seasons, never the NFC starter in those 4 games.
Coldwinter lol Eli not a hall of famer. Michael strahan 1 tho.
@@coldwinter5428
Who was he going to beat for All Pro? Brady? His brother? Rodgers? Favre? The many QBs who had much much better teams?
Kurt Warner doesn't win a single MVP if his competition is prime Brady and prime Brees and prime Peyton and prime Rodgers.
The problem with the All Pro and MVP argument is that you may be competing for those things against tougher competition than 10 other guys who made the HoF but weren't as good as you or as successful. But they were lucky enough to win APs and MVPs against other players at their position who simply weren't as good as the guys you keep losing those awards to.
maybe but eli owns brady and packers qbs
@@BruvahSulaiman you just answered your own question. Eli never competed with those guys at the highest level (those guys are hall of famers because they did duke it out every season, Eli was never in the conversation). He had 16 seasons to do it and he never did it. Here's another interesting stat. He lost every postseason game where his defense gave up more then 20 points (0/4).
I like that “10 attempts” idea ... if you’re actually a Hall of Famer, it shouldn’t be a thought if you’re a Hall of Famer. It should be the elite of the elite. A Hall of Famer should be someone who was the best of the best for the majority of their career.
I think a Cap is wrong. There are too many guys on the list to cram everyone in 10 years
On January 15, 2020 Winston Hill was elected to the Pro Football Hall of Fame Class of 2020. The offensive line of the 68' Jets is what won that game not Namath. Winston was cut by the Colts and his man did not make even 1 tackle the entire game. 4 times AFL all star and 4 times NFL all pro. Guys like him MADE the NFL accept the AFL teams!
Since the votes were failing him for over 40 years you think he does not deserve to be in the HOF?
AKfishkayaker He should be in, he should have also been elected 40 years ago. It shouldn’t take that long to realize someone’s a Hall of Fame.
@@antoinestroman3431 He "should have" been first ballot in my opinion. I used him as an argument against 10 year cap and "if you don't know his name". The voters should be deeper in knowledge to use this mentality in my opinion.

They keep sayn this but put names on the players they talkn about... Or is this all over Eli?
Yeah, and that one guy who cried over not getting in. I forget the dudes name.
They have tons of players that got in that didn't even came close to the top 10...and they are in
There have been some players who deserved to get in who were overlooked or didn’t get in because of others backed up on the ballot.
Rod definitely don't like Eli to the hall lmao
So do I. Eli is no where close to being a Hall of Famer
Roger Craig is a HOF ......The Hall is a joke
Anyone notice in the original video Deion was like “Is it how long you played? Idk” sarcastically and then when asked about Frank Gore he was like “Yeah he should be in. Longevity.”
Right, but he did clarify by saying that since the standards have been dropped you might aswell
Amen. You knew if you came across the middle, you better have your head on a swivel.
ROOOOD!
Like WR wareing gloves that help the catch, grip the ball and rules help them, but stickum not allowed bare hands. Rule changes for safety I get it but that allows them to play longer of course they will break records. You break a record that took you 16 to 20 years, 16 game season. Some one did in 13 to 15 years 14 games season who should really be in HOF
that shirt james Harrison got on tho..lol
Wiley summed it up at 2:12. That's as real as it gets.
