- Beginning with revolvers and growing to include pistols, rifles and even a bullpup-style pump-action shotgun, Smith & Wesson’s Military & Police (M&P) line has garnered a reputation for reliability in the hands of professional users and armed citizens, alike. Given its expansive catalog and a history that dates back to the mid-1800s, Smith & Wesson has been churning out a remarkable number of “firsts” in recent years. Add to that list its first 5.7x28mm firearm in the form of the M&P 5.7 pistol. The potential of the high-velocity cartridge is harnessed by S&W’s brilliant Tempo barrel system, and the pistol offers an astounding 22-round capacity on top of standard features like the flat-face trigger and optic-ready slide. In form and function-including the new FDE finish-the M&P 5.7 continues the tradition of Smith & Wesson’s military and police offerings, and ably expands the line to include the 5.7x28mm chambering.

It’s amazing. I like it better than the Ruger. Only thing that keeps me from buying it is Ruger has the fantastic LC carbine that has interchangeable magazines with their 5.7 pistol.
Why the FDE and two tone have no thumb safety. If I want one with a thumb safety I have to get the black one. Kinda dumb
I wonder if they can pull of this rotating action in 9mm
Look into the PX4 Storm. It also uses a rotating barrel design
@@Horvath0819 That's completely different. This is a gas delay, the PX4 is a turn delay.
2:15 similar to a MP5 and rollerdelay
Jefferson county police department Can i buy one
How come I can't find a review of this pistol that includes a bench and a paper target? I'm starting to think they are not very accurate.
Just took one out yesterday with a can out front, it did fine off-hand
@jeremiahjohnson2784 I finally got to try a friend's. No bench or optic. I don't hear anyone talking about the locked breach, and therefore, perfectly reloadable brass. Neat gun. On my list.
