  • When considering American sporting long arms, the name Winchester looms large among both shotgun and bolt-action rifle offerings. The spiritual successor to the classic Winchester Model 12 pump-action shotgun, the SXP family is replete with features and offers exceptional value. Two configurations to note are the SXP High Grade Field and the SXP Waterfowl Hunter Camo. Both guns are available in 12 or 20 gauge with 26- or 28-inch barrels. The biggest difference is the stock material, Turkish walnut for the High Grade and camouflaged composite for the Waterfowl. Also, the Waterfowl Hunter can be had with a 3-1/2-inch chamber for heavier duck and goose loads. Fast to shoot and easy on the shoulder, the SXP continues Winchester’s legacy of excellence afield.

From what Ive seen they are quality guns. Id get one over a new made 590. Mossberg seems to be putting out more lemons these days. The 500s seem solid still but, the coating on the 590s make them rough to cycle and some come with feeding issues.

Weneedto get overthe slant on turkeys guns, America is not the only place manufacturing guns these days. In fact most of their guns are overpriced. I own a shadow 2 made in the Czech republic, an ADC pcc made in italy and a sxp made in Turkey.

Maybe a American name, but these are made in Turkey. Far from a model 12. They might work fine for a few hundred rounds, but after that most have issues.

@rubbermaidable You think these are like the old ones? The quality is not . Go ahead and buy one and be happy.

@@brianhoxworth3881 I own a 120 Ranger, of course the quality of the older models is better, my only point was that guns made in Turkey can still be nice.

They are sourced in turkey but they aren’t the classic turkey clone gun. The parts are made in Turkey, and shipped to the states quality checked and put together domestically here in states

    Made in Turkey, skip!

Some of critical F-35 parts are made in Turkey. Do you wanna skip it too? Most important thing is standardization. you have an opinion without knowledge that means stupidity.
